Outside you will find a south-facing courtyard garden which is perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is also a ground floor cloakroom. Out and About:
There is so much to do and see in Deal with two castles and museums, a quarter of a mile long, award winning pier with a restaurant on the pier head, two weekly markets, wonderful Georgian architecture and a great beach! For the cyclists there is the seven mile route from Deal to Ringwould - described as 'short and sweet' with 'a bit of everything' and you can enjoy walking up on the cliffs towards Dover. If you don't fancy cooking there are many restaurants to choose from - traditional to modern offering English, French, Thai, Chinese and Indian cuisine, a wide range of cafes and bistros plus a great range of specialty food shops. Places to visit nearby are Dover Castle, Ramsgate Harbour, Whitstable, famous for its oysters and the city of Canterbury with its famous cathedral. Deal has a main line station with regular services to London so if you're planning a weekend visit, you can leave the car at home.
