There is plenty of comfortable seating available after a long day walking along the stunning Royal Norfolk coastline, as well as dining seating for that well-earned evening meal. Heacham is a delightful North Norfolk village with stunning beaches; North beach and South beach, both within walking distance. A favourite amongst families the promenade stretches along the shoreline to the neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton with popular Sea Life Centre and Funfair to visit. Heacham is a firm favourite with families; the calm waters are ideal for paddling or just splashing around. The more adventurous may prefer sea kayaking, kite and windsurfing, why not book an afternoon’s tuition with lessons available locally. The village itself is well served with three Pubs, all serving food and two mini supermarkets, as well as a variety of independent shops, bicycle hire too! Located on the outskirts of the village is Norfolk Lavender, enjoy the local speciality ‘Lavender cake’ or pop into Farmer Fred’s and let the youngsters run free in the indoor play area or visit the miniature farm. The area is a natural haven for bird watchers with two RSPB reserves close-by at Snettisham and Titchwell with a variety of coastal paths to explore as well as the popular Peddars Way.
