We have just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay at The Stables. We are a couple in our 40s with our dog. The property is converted stables which are not only unique but perfectly equipped to make it feel home from home. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and were on hand, although we didnt really need to call on them as we had everything we needed, however their knowledge of the local area and suggestions for places to visit enhanced our trip! Booked very last minute to take advantage of a window of glorious sunny weather, in late September. The property was immaculate and very comfortable. The road was closer than we imagined but that said it didn't disturb our sleep in the very comfortable and cosy bed. Everything needed was on hand and a generous welcome pack was much appreciated. Read more The hosts John and Dawn (and Archie their dog) who live next door, gave us a very warm welcome and were friendly without being imposing. Particularly enjoyed just watching their donkeys Martha, Rosie and Nina and the hot tub was a fabulous way to relax. The local beach at Aberech (with free parking) was wonderful to walk Luna, our less mobile 12 year old dog, and we almost had the entire space to ourselves on several occasions. We would also recommend a visit to the Potted Lobster at Abersoch for a real treat, although guessing the area would be heaving in high season. Don't give it any further thought just book it, you won't be disappointed. Hide
