Set on the edge of town and just 100 metres from the riverside and the ferry crossing, this apartment is a great choice for couples seeking a coastal getaway at any time of the year. Fowey is home to a lovely harbour, an excellent choice of independent restaurants, pubs and shops, a sandy beach at Readymoney Cove and fabulous, scenic, coastal walks. Head across the River Fowey on the ferry and pick up the circular Hall Walk, returning on the foot ferry from Polruan, then treat yourself to a tasty pasty from one of the local bakeries. For messing about on the river, hire a kayak or paddleboard and explore the harbour, looking out for wildlife on the way.

This ground-floor apartment is found in an imposing building opposite the Caffa Mill car park, with access up a gently sloping ramp to the main entrance. Feel instantly at home when entering this contemporary and stylishly furnished hidden gem, finished in a mix of calming coastal hues. With a large sofa and snuggle chair to cosy up on and a pretty outlook of the colourful garden from the lounge, it’s the perfect retreat. The modern, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a well-equipped kitchen with built-in appliances and dining space for two. The hall leads to the light and inviting bedroom with a king size bed and a spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath. In the hallway there is a chest of drawers ensuring sufficient storage to fully unpack and make the most of your stay and a handy utility cupboard housing the washing machine.

Outside, there is an enclosed, paved terrace with rattan seating – perfect for breakfast in the sun or evening drinks. This tucked-away space is designed with a mix of different planting and interesting features, creating a Mediterranean feel. There is just a low step over the threshold into the lounge for access.

Property was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is a short walk (about 5-10 mins) into the centre of Fowey and the shops and eating places, which was fine for us. We enjoy walking the coast path which was easily accessible, and there is an hourly bus service to Par and St Austell. The scones that were awaiting us on arrival were deliciouRead mores. Hide

Excellent location for walking into central Fowey. Property well appointed, providing everything we needed and immaculate. Lovely stay and will look to return.

Such a lovely stay in Sail Away. 100% recommend. Everything you need, location perfect, short walk to shops.. Very kind welcome of scones, cream , milk and bottle of fizz. The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy, with the added bonus of the courtyard garden.. Won't hesitate to book again.

The cottage was very well thought through, welcome pack, everything for my dog if needed, spare leads, poo bags, dishes, towels all hung neatly in the entrance hall. It was a very close to the Main Street and the car park directly facing was a bonus.

What a find! This is a beautiful apartment, deceptively spacious and very well appointed throughout. Great attention to detail and has everything you need for a relaxed, stress-free holiday. The courtyard garden is perfect, and a great addition to the property; also having the locking gate for access was a bonus.

Sailaway is a lovely cosy retreat. Quiet and comfortable with a pretty secluded garden, it was the perfect base for enjoying our holiday in Fowey.

Sail Away os a very good place to stay - ten minutes walk to shops and restaurants and very close to the car park. It is the best one dedroom flat in the block with a nice piece of private outside space.

Beautiful apartment. Comfortable, cosy, quirky. Had a wonderful stay in this well equipped, bright, warm and airy apartment. Enjoyed the courtyard garden as we were lucky enough to have a sunny week. Positively the best holiday apartment we have stayed in.
