Buttercup Cottage is a beautifully furnished property with stylish luxurious interiors, providing a great space to relax and unwind in this memorable property. This property is great for the whole family or for a group of friends to enjoy. The open plan lounge and dining room is the perfect area to entertain and spend quality time with your group after a busy day exploring the North Cornish coast. Buttercup Cottage is in the quaint characterful village setting of Penrose with countryside views from the property. The beach is just three miles away, where you will find Porthcothan Bay. A picturesque sandy beach where you can enjoy the famous North Cornish surf. Other popular beaches such as Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay are also nearby. St Merryn is just a short drive away from Buttercup Cottage and is a larger village with many local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat. The Cornish Arms, a Rick Stein pub, is located in St Merryn serving delicious local produce and of course locally caught seafood. The larger coastal towns of Padstow is just five miles away and Newquay just eight miles.

OUTSIDE SPACE AND PARKING: Small patio with steps up to lawn - note horses, cows and sheep in adjoining fields. Coal barbeque and outside dining furniture provided. Parking available on the driveway at the property for three cars.

Pets Welcome: Maximum two dogs allowed at an additional charge.

A very nice house in a quiet village. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Very clean, comfy beds. The main bedroom is lovely, the other two quite basic. Great for the dog, garden is enclosed. Nearby to a lot of the beaches, the roads in are very narrow, but quiet. An enjoyable stay.

Buttercup cottage is in a great location making it a good base for a holiday. The village of Penrose is quiet and only 2 miles to the nearest beautiful beach and cove. The cove has a little beachside shop and cafe. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable with plenty of parking. If we had researched the local area and known just how small the roads were we may not have chosen this cottage. However, we got used to them after a couple of days and it was easy enough to get to the loveliest beaches we've ever seen! The cottage itself was beautiful, and plenty spacious enough for 6 adults and a dog.

We had a lovely holiday here. Cottage was very clean and modern and comfortable. The only things that would have improved it was a bit more attention to safety e.g. the upstairs windows had no child safety catch (which in the twin bedroom where children are likely to sleep seems an oversight). There were also no oven gloves present which led to myRead more husband burning his hand whilst trying to retrieve dinner from the oven. Also some feedback -the welcome bundle (which was very nice) had coffee, but the property had no cafetiere to brew it in, and there was also tea provided but no teapot. For a week's stay in which we had paid a lot of money for the cottage, it would also have been nice to be provided more loo roll - 3 rolls isn't very generous for 7 people for a week. Aside from these things, the property was well equipped. Hide
