Sandsend, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest coastal villages, is set at the foot of Lythe Bank and only a two-mile beach walk away from Whitby. Pretty holiday cottages and houses are set in the stunning cliff backdrop. Beneath them is the award-winning beach, with streams leading to the sea, perfect for children to have a splash in or feed the ducks. Alternatively, a walk in the neighbouring woodlands or along the cliffs is equally as charming. Originally Sandsend was two separate villages, each formed along its own beck, it now stands as one united village. There are interesting shops, an award-winning restaurant, cafes, pubs and an art gallery. With beautiful views of the coastline and its famous historic neighbour, Whitby, it is a truly magical place.
The cottage has plenty of parking on the block paved drive and then you enter into a wonderful home with everything you need for your perfect holiday. Enter into a reception hall, which leads into a lovely sitting room with comfortable seating, and living flame gas fire. Also, downstairs you can enjoy the fantastic modern kitchen diner (with Miele & Neff appliances) with views to the garden and out to sea. Spend time with friends and family enjoying a meal at the table while discussing your plans for the next day, or if you are feeling up to it after a day out sightseeing go into the games room and play table football or use the games console. Also, downstairs is a modern shower room (incorporating a power shower) and a large utility room with a washing machine. On the first floor you will find four bedrooms and a bathroom with double walk-in shower and a luxury double ended bath.
Outside to the rear, through the patio doors from the kitchen/diner, you will find a large patio area with table and seating, ideal for alfresco dining, and a lawned fully enclosed garden area with views over the sea.
