Number 10 is a fantastic large holiday home with everything you would need to enjoy a holiday by the sea. The spacious kitchen boasts a separate pantry and leads out to the first rear patio and the garden path to the secluded rear garden. Here, there is a second lovely patio and seating/bbq area which gets all day sun. With five large bedrooms and three bathrooms, this is ideal for large families or for two families sharing a holiday. The spacious lounge, dining room and separate “chilling” space make it ideal for families to meet and spread out.

The property is only 80 yards from the Cleveland Way (Saltburn to Whitby) coastal footpath to Port Mulgrave and on to Staithes. There is a village inn nearby, serving excellent food, and just across the road is the way down to the beach. This lovely award winning beach offers fine sand, rock pools and the possibility of finding fossils. Also at the bottom of the bank, you will find another delightful country pub and a tea shop selling good food and offering fishing nets, buckets and spades and body boards. 

Runswick Bay is within a few minutes drive of the North York Moors National Park with its many beautiful walks leading to exceptional views, or why not cycle over hills or through dales and stop off at one of the many local watering holes.

GROUND FLOOR:
Hallway: 
With coat hook and a handy bench to sit on to remove your shoes after a day on the beach.
Lounge:
 This spacious room with feature bay window and Victorian style tiled fireplace with open fire is perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing. There are three comfy leather sofas and a large pouffe, along with various coffee tables and a large screen Smart TV, two table lamps and a standard lamp.
Dining Room: Another spacious room with an extendable table which can easily seat ten people, great for sitting around and discussing plans for the next day, six chairs and four stools. This room boasts a log burner and two easy chairs to relax in, a wall mounted TV and a large feature wooden dresser.
Utility: Off the dining room, you will find the utility room with sink, freezer and washing machine.
Kitchen: With modern units and plenty of storage, this is a great place to cook the wonderful Yorkshire produce you have found in the local area. There are two built in electric ovens, one with a separate grill, a ceramic hob with hood over, a tall fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven. The added advantage of this property is the proper pantry, great for all your food storage.
Cloakroom: Off the hallway is a cloakroom with WC, small wash basin and mirror.

FIRST FLOOR:

Bedroom 1: Double bed with two bedside cabinets and lamps, two chest of drawers one with mirror, wardrobe and an armchair. Leading off this is the spacious dressing area with more storage. From there you reach the en-suite.
En-suite: Double walk in shower, vanity wash basin with lighted mirror over, WC.
Bedroom 2: Double brass framed bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, armchair with coffee table, chest of drawers with triple mirror, wardrobe.
Bathroom: Having tiled floor with panelled bath and hand held shower, separate shower cubicle, WC, wash basin with shelf and mirror over, heated towel rail.
First Floor Landing: Here you will find a cosy seating nook with a two seater sofa and wall mounted TV, ideal for getting away from it all.

SECOND FLOOR:
Bedroom 3: Rear facing with twin beds, bedside cabinets and lamps and open fitted wardrobe and shelves.
Bedroom 4:
 Double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and stool, chair.
Bedroom 5: Single bed with bedside cabinet and lamp, chest of drawers with mirror and stool.

Shower Room: Shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.

OUTSIDE:

To the front is a gravelled area with parking for two cars.
To the rear is a patio area directly outside the property with table and seating. Once you go up a couple of steps and along a path, you will reach the secret rear garden with lawned area, shed for storing bikes and another patio with table seating and a barbecue. There is also access through a secret path to the back lane for bikes and sandy feet. There is a tap in the rear patio area.

Pets: Up to two well behaved dogs allowed.
Parking: Gravelled drive with off street parking for two cars.

Lovely spacious house with everything thing needed for the family of five adults, two children and a baby! Great base for exploring the area ... we visited Whitby, Sandsend, Scarborough, Staithes and Saltburn. Loved the beach at Runswick although it's down a steep hill ... the trek up was needed exercise after the lovely coffee and cake at the beacRead moreh cafe!! Had a delicious meal at the pub a few doors down too! The owners were very pleasant and checked in on us when we arrived which was greatly appreciated ... as was the welcome gift of wine and chocolate! Highly recommend. Thank you. Hide

Fantastic location. Steep walk to and from beach but can reduce impact by walking through old Town. House was perfect for our family gathering, lots of space, all equipment provided. Open fire in living room much appreciated in the evening. Bus stop very very close to travel to Staithes/Whitby. Excellent beach Cafe. Pub 2 doors away and one in Old Read moreTown. The location of the property was superb, within easy walking distance of Runswick Bay. The level of equipment and facilities around the house, particularly the kitchen, was also excellent, as was the owners prompt response to any queries we had together with his recommendations for eating and drinking locally. Had an excellent stay at this property, it truly was a home from home. Beautifully clean and comfortable with a lovely secure garden too. Fabulous location, the perfect place for the 3 generations we had in our group.

The cottage is fantastic from the first time we stepped in through the door it was amazing. Beautiful house and garden, it is equipped with everything that you need. We had the best weekend in an absolutely stunning part of the country.
