Emily's is a beautiful refurbished apartment located along Lower Contour Road in Kingswear, South Devon. Kingswear is a wonderful village with a village shop, local pub and is famous for the Steam Train that can take you on adventures along the Coast and through the Countryside to Paignton. Kingswear is a fantastic location offering the tranquil village life for your stay yet is only short journeys away from Dartmouth, Brixham, Totnes, Paignton and Torquay. Lots of things to do and so little time! 

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many local events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.

The apartment is perfectly situated within the village offering Guests one private designated car parking space at the rear of the apartment building. As you walk down the steps from the parking space there is a terrace by the front door. At the front of the apartment you'll be greeted with a gorgeous view of the River Dart and you will be able to enjoy a lovely glass of wine at the end of the day making the most of 'the Sunny side' (locals joke). The apartment has two double bedrooms, an open plan living/kitchen and dining room and a family bathroom with walk in shower cubicle.

Lounge Smart TV, comfortable seating with two sofas, and views towards the river.

Pets Welcome  Maximum of 2 pets, £25 per pet per week.

Bedding and Linen Bed linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels). 

Security Deposit This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat Electricity is included in the rental. Electric heated towel rails in the bathroom.

A few (minor) quibbles for what is a great location, and with a bonus of off street parking, once you find it. The property is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, the bedrooms especially so - really cramped. We were disappointed not to have basics like washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, spare tea towels or toilet rolls. The oven was not vRead moreery clean. But the lounge is fine with a wonderful view from the balcony. We were lucky not to be disturbed by people in the AirBnB flat above, but can imagine it could be an issue. Arriving in the dark we struggled to find the correct property as there is no signage visible from the road, and the parking is unmarked. Hide

The location of the apartment was great, however on the noise from the in the apartment above was at times unacceptable.

Nice location, good parking for one car. The steps can be tricky when carrying heavy loads down to the front door from the parking area. Ideal for a week away. The best restaurants are across the river in Dartmouth. We enjoyed day trips using the ferries, buses and steam railway that are all close at hand.

A property with a nice view. Unfortunately not ideal for people who are not well or require rest as there is considerable noise from the property above at all hours of the day.

The cottage is well appointed. The bedrooms are compact, with not a lot of wardrobe space. It was clean with plenty of equipment. The views are beautiful, especially at night.

A compact and well appointed apartment with superb views across the Dart estuary to Dartmouth. It is located a short stroll from the ferries to Dartmouth and the Ship Inn at Kingswear which we particularly enjoyed. The parking space is particularly useful. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment in a brilliant location, with excellent view of the steam trains & across to Dartmouth. The only down side is bedrooms & beds very small with limited space for clothes etc.

Instructions for parking were not easy. Suggest you put parking is just before the school sign. Black sign on black gate not helpful when you are driving! Very helpful response when we had no hot water, someone came out after 9 pm. Much appreciated! Location and views were stunning! Bedrooms rather small but would come back. A great place to stay!

The location of the apartment was perfect for us as we wanted the stunning views over the river Dart and Dartmouth and to have easy access to all that Dartmouth has to offer. Overall we found the apartment comfortable. The bed was comfortable but as the bedrooms are so small the beds are small doubles, someone over 6ft tall might not find them coRead moremfortable. The apartment was clean and tidy with fabulous views across the harbour to Dartmouth. The ferry was a couple of minutes walk away. Bedroom space was limited due to their size but a lovely apartment with a fabulous bio fire. Ideal for holidays.

Bright and sunny apartment in a perfect location withing Kingswear with wonderful views over to Dartmouth. The apartment has all the comforts needed to have a lovely holiday and great that dogs are allowed as some great walks to enjoy with your four legged friend. The fact the apartment has its own parking was a big bonus.

The apartment is lovely and in a perfect location with stunning views, very comfortable, steps down to the apartment are very steep, parking was very good otherwise would have had to pay on the car park.
