This is a lovely property, with all the benefits of a nice modern renovation and all the charm of a traditional seaside retreat. The sofas are very comfortable, as are the beds. There are fantastic walks from the house and the village has nice bakeries and ice cream shops. Great cottage and great location!

Lovely, very homely house. Very warm, clean well stocked. Location is on a hill but a great compromise for a parking space and proximity to town. Definitely re recommend this property and we will be back

The whole cottage was brilliant and it was comfy had all the equipment you could care for but the one thing that would stop me staying again is the parking as I have an electric car I need to be confident I can get in the space, given that if we stay again it will be down the street in Victoria Cottage as there parking is way better.

House was amazing it had obviously been refurbished to a very high standard . Very clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully equipped. Very comfy beds. Property is very close to centre of village although it is up a hill. Garden is also up steep steps so may not suit someone with mobility issues. Garden lacks privacy so not great to sit ouRead moret in evening with a drink or meal as sun goes down which was a shame. Great to have a parking space. I would definitely recommend the house but not the garden. Hide

Bright spacious property. Well positioned in Beer. There is a small enclosed patio outside the kitchen door. To access the rest of the garden you need to go through the gate into an area shared with next door before going up the steps into another enclosed area of garden. When I let our dogs out early one morning I didn't realise next doors' doRead moreg was loose with their gate open and no one outside. Fortunately all the dogs were good natured and I could get the other dog back behind its' gate. Hide
