Property code: OC-YMORDY

Dyffryn Y Mor is located in the breathtaking seaside village of Abersoch, in a peaceful cul-de-sac with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and out to sea. This charming detached bungalow features three spacious bedrooms; one double + 1 single bed, one with flexible sleeping arrangements via a 'zip and link bed' and one with children's sized bunk beds (additional pull-out trundle bed also available for children only), making this the perfect house for a family getaway. The welcoming living area provides peace and tranquility, with countryside views to one side and seaside views to the other and plenty of soft seating to relax on. The kitchen is at the centre of the house, with a light and airy conservatory leading off to the side where you can enjoy garden views from the comfort of the rattan furniture or venture outdoors and host your very own BBQ with a spot of al fresco dining.

This delightful holiday bungalow is set within walking distance of the original fishing port, and now a fashionable seaside resort that is Abersoch. Amongst the vibrant hustle and bustle here is a variety of wonderful attractions; boat trips to St Tudwal's Islands, an 18-hole golf course with incredible views and a local sailing school. Abersoch's long stretch of sandy beach is lined with picturesque beach huts and its sheltered position makes it an ideal beach for both bathing and watersports. The high street, which hosts a number of local shops, restaurants and bars, is located within walking distance- ensuring there's something for everyone during your coastal escape to this stunning corner of The Llyn Peninsula.

Cottage as described, pretty basic and in need of an upgrade but clean. There is no welcome pack so if you intend to cook bring everything with you, we had some washing up liquid, toilet rolls, kitchen roll and 1 small bin bag and that was it. Only 5 mugs yet it can house 7 and 4 glasses the rest were plastic assume to cater for children? ! LocatiRead moreon is ok especially if you want to eat in town a 5-10 min stroll but up a slight hill, no footpath in some bits and poor lighting - better, but longer, to walk via the Spar. Maybe bring some extension cables to charge phones / use the hairdryer. Good info on where to eat but even at the beginning of Sept we needed to book. We ate in the Dining Room - excellent, The Potted Lobster - v good, The Cove - also v good, Deli Thai and Zinc both good. Portmerion brasserie is also v good and free entry to the village if you have lunch in the brasserie. Marina La Cucina in Porthmadog was also good. All beaches were lovely - clean and had toilets / cafes etc which were good value. Though most have National Trust car parks which charge non members 5 a day even if only staying for a few hours others mainly take coins or to download apps which can be difficult signal wise but theres no common app so maybe read up and download before you go. Great location with lots of parking. 10 minute walk to the shops and 15 minutes to the beach. Comfortable cottage if a little tired.
