A ground-floor apartment in a quiet corner of a gated development close to the Carlyon Bay Hotel and 5 minutes’ walk to the local beach. Set at the heart of St Austell Bay, Carlyon Bay is a stretch of the coastline extending to almost 2 miles of beach which is divided into three sections - Crinnis, Shorthorn and Polgaver.

If you haven’t discovered Carlyon Bay you’ll find it’s a great location from where to base your holiday. Situated on the South West Coast Path there are glorious coastal walks in either direction and on the beach during the season you will find pop up food vans, occasional live music and watersports activities. Being so close to the Carlyon Bay Hotel you can take advantage of their luxury spa, 18 hole championship golf course and AA rosette award-winning restaurant. Less than a 20-minute stroll from the famous and picturesque harbour of Charlestown. Full of fine food, good pubs and independent shops. Follow in Aiden Turner’s footsteps as you adventure around the historical harbour where many of the scenes in the BBC’s Poldark were filmed. Within an easy drive there are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and the spectacular garden scenery of the tranquil Pinetum Gardens. To head further afield you’ll find good road access to the wider county and the local train station at Par is on the mainline.

Crinnis apartment offers a level interior with a well-equipped kitchen, a bright living/dining area with a spacious master bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom – all decorated and furnished in contemporary colours and style.

OUTSIDE SPACE & PARKING: Communal gardens to the front and rear of the apartment. Small patio area to the front with two outdoor chairs available. Allocated parking space (RH2) in communal car park with plenty of visitor spaces. Please note the gardens are not enclosed and are directly next to the parking.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely holiday home in Cornwall. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy and seamless great parking and clear instructions made access a breeze. The location is ideal: just a short walk to the beach, close to excellent restaurants and with a large supermarket just a six minute drive away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of towels provided and a beautifully clean, modern bathroom with a powerful shower and bathtub. The decor throughout is gorgeous and welcoming, creating a relaxing and homely atmosphere. We really appreciated the thoughtful extras like tea, coffee, salt and pepper, and a selection of cleaning products those little touches made us feel right at home. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful, safe and calm. Hi I just wanted to provide feedback on the apartment in Crinnis we booked from the 4th - 11th August. We were pleasantly surprised with the layout and amenities in the apartment and details such as the soap, dishwasher and washing tablets that normally aren't provided so was an appreciated additional touch. The main negative point wereRead more all the beds, the double and both singles were so uncomfortable we decided to come home a few days early to get a good night's sleep. Given the level of detail of the other decor and furnishings this surprised me as a mid-range mattress isn't that expensive but even my 12-year-old who is very slight, mentioned she could feel the springs in her mattress and therefore didn't sleep well. I thought it best to give you this feedback so you could review and possibly upgrade the beds for future guests as I wouldn't want anyone else to feel the need to cut their family holiday short. Location of this apartment was ideal, and the apartment itself was spacious and airey. Some small niggles which were not really a problem but would not have expected them considering the price of rental. The shower water did not drain away very well. The place was lovely, really accessible and nicely laid out. We made use of the garden, with our 3 yr old enjoying running around. And we walked to Carlyon beach multiple times, and over to Charlestown as well. A lovely time!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this apartment in Carlyon Bay, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location of this apartment is simply perfect. It's just a short walk away from the beautiful Carlyon Bay, and the charming Charlestown is also within easy reach. Whether you're a beach lover or interested in exploring hiRead morestoric sites, this apartment's location is ideal. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the apartment left us thoroughly impressed. It was spotless upon arrival, and the generous living space made our stay incredibly comfortable. There's something special about coming back to a clean and inviting space after a day of exploring. During our stay, we also took the opportunity to visit Looe and Mevagissey, both of which boast lovely harbours. These towns offered a delightful mix of shops, boutiques, and fantastic dining options. It was a pleasure to explore these picturesque spots, and they're conveniently located within a reasonable drive from the apartment. In summary, I can't recommend this apartment enough. Whether you're looking for a seaside getaway, historical exploration, or simply a comfortable and clean place to stay, this apartment near Carlyon Bay has it all. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
