Ynys Cadno has been furnished to a very high standard throughout and is fully equipped with everything you'll need for a home-from-home. 

Located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, there's no shortage of excellent walking and cycling trails nearby, including a superb route around Llyn Trawsfynydd around a mile from your front door. Take a peaceful walk through the woodland and discover the natural beauty of Rhaeadr Mawddach and Pistyll Gain waterfalls at Coed y Brenin Forest (6 mi) or enjoy a scenic riverside picnic and cycle down some of its brilliant mountain biking trails. For a wonderful day out, take a trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog and discover the numerous local activities such as Ffestiniog Railway, cycling at Antur Stiniog (12 mi) and adventure at Zip World Slate Caverns (15 mi). Slightly further afield is Cadair Idris, the highest and one of the most popular peaks to ascend in Southern Snowdonia. For a spot of lunch after your climb, head to Dolgellau, a town steeped in history and bursting with independent shops and eateries to enjoy.

The cottage exceeded all of our expectations, it was perfect for our stay. The attention to detail in the cottage was fantastic, we have all said what an amazing week we had which was made by where we were located, enabling us to do all things we had planned.

We had a fabulous stay, the cottage was perfect and immaculate with amazing far reaching views. The decking area and hot tub were perfect for taking in the surroundings, we even had lots of new lambs directly on the other side of the fence given the time of year we visited! We were very lucky with the weather and even managed to use the BBQ. The loRead morecation is remote but this just adds to the charm and by car everything is easily accessible. The owners were super friendly and checked in on us during our stay. Cannot recommend enough, a perfect place to stay when exploring Snowdonia. Hide

Just returned from a wonderful week-long family holiday at this outstanding property. The barn conversion is completed and furnished to an exceptional standard, everything felt luxurious and tasteful, whilst still feeling homely. The views are incredible, the hot-tub in a perfect setting to relax and unwind, with the added bonus of being covered, wRead morehich we really felt was beneficial. What a stunning place; my husband and I had a wonderful week here. If you want the feeling of total rural seclusion then this is the place for you. There are two neighbouring properties which you can't see on the pics, but are not close enough to worry about, and the hot tub is not overlooked. The interior is lovely, and the cinema set up in the loRead moreunge is a bonus for cold, wet nights! Good location on the main route for travelling all over the national park, close enough to big shops and amenities, but still far enough away from it all to get that secluded feel. Absolutely stunning cottage, clean and really well equipt. Perfect retreat from the hustle bustle of home. Heaps of walks and things to do within a stones throw. Welsh weather a little variable but that did not stop us. Highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful stay, cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beautifully furnished and the hot tub was definitely an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay so much we were happy to relax and unwind without the need to venture out too far. Would love to revisit in the future.

The most beautiful and comfortable holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The pictures on the website do not do this beautiful holiday home justice. A very handy guide book is left in the property by the owners and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this property and will most certainly be back.

What a cottage, I almost don't want to write a review so we can keep it secret for ourselves! Ynys Cadno is in a perfect situation for exploring North Wales and Eryri, isolated enough to feel tranquil and away from it all, but close to good major roads to explore further afield.
