A welcoming retreat, perfect for families and couples, this secluded cottage with far-reaching coastal views is well placed for discovering the spectacular beauty of Ireland’s Ring of Kerry. Situated 2 miles from Caherdaniel and 10 miles from Waterville, it is 400 metres from the seashore and 1 mile from the beach. From the cottage, guests can strike out on long walks beside Derrynane Bay and across the Lamb’s Head Peninsula to enjoy the scenery. The villages of Caherdaniel and Glanbegh, also 2 miles away, offer places to dine out, while Waterville has more eateries, as well as shops to browse in, a beach and a golf course. From here, you can also take boat trips up to the Skellig Islands.

Enter to find yourselves in a spacious, light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can congregate after your trips out to watch TV, relax and simply lose yourselves in the magical views. The kitchen has everything you require to help you cater for your party with the ingredients you have sourced locally and there is a table with built-in seating for your lively holiday meals together. The bedrooms are all just as comfortable and inviting. These include two doubles and one twin, the latter of which has an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom.

Step outside to enjoy the fresh air and the views. Please be aware that between the car park and the cottage, there are 22 steps to climb.

Amazing views across the bay and way beyond to the Skelligs. The local pub, the Blind Piper does great food and is popular with both locals and visitors

"We stayed in this lovely property for two weeks in August. The views are spectacular and for us it was the absolutely perfect escape as a family. The house is very simple but it has comfortable beds and a recently renovated bathroom. I can highly recommend it as a holiday escape." C O'Callaghan stayed 5-19 August 2023

Fabulous view but very steep drive after very narrow windy road, however room to park at bottom of drive if not too happy about driving up
