What an amazing part of the world. This cottage was perfectly located for exploring the beautiful county of Donegal and we had a gorgeous holiday, blessed with sun for the whole week in May. The cottage had everything we needed and was really comfortable. I loved sitting out on the patio in the morning and in the evening looking over the incredibleRead more views. The cottage sits quite high in the hills overlooking Fintra beach and rolling hills and mountains. Its only a few minutes in the car down to the beach so I didnt try the walk which is apparently about 26 minutes. I think you could walk down as long as you were pretty fit for the walk back. There are very few cars up and down the road so as long as you are careful I think you would be fine. Clare, looking after the house was easy to contact for any queries we had and very helpful. Just perfect. Thank you. Hide

A lovely cottage - comfortable and well equipped - in a great location for exploring this part of Donegal. Be aware that linen and fuel are extra and keep some cash to pay for them (we spent 50) but its still a very reasonable cost and great value for money.

You have to drive into Killybegs as the road is not safe to walk down but the location of the cottage is lovely.
