We had a lovely relaxing week at Cooltra Lodge. The house inside has such wow factor! The views of the lake are just stunning. Its so quiet and peaceful, we even caught a glimpse of an otter. The house is very well equipped and is very comfortable, even with 2 teenagers with us, we all had a lovely time!

Excellent family holiday. Everything we needed and added bonus of books and games to keep everyone amused. Location just perfect. You can paddle or swim with ease in the lake. We even managed to row out in our inflatable dinghy. Plenty of fishing done and a few caught. We didn't want to leave.

Amazing house with great views of the lakes from the kitchen/living area. With two ground floor ensuite rooms this was ideal for my elderly parents in one room and kids in the other while we had the room upstairs with views to east lake. There is a nice little town called Foxford less than ten minutes drive away and you can easily access Ballina aRead morend Castlebar, Westport, also the Nephin mountain is less than 20mins drive away. The house comes with a private Pier/jetty which is great for fishing/ kayaking to the islands. I found the owner and cleaner very helpful and friendly and would definately go back if i got a chance.
