Rest and recharge in this delightful stone cottage on the picturesque Toe Head Peninsula in County Cork. The rural property sleeps five guests and is perfect for families and groups of friends seeking a peaceful getaway, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The Wild Atlantic Way hugs the peninsula’s coastline, and offers spectacular clifftop walks. The area is awash with stunning beaches, including the popular Tragumna Beach (3 miles), where you can enjoy a picnic on the golden sand or splashing in the sheltered waters. Just 5 miles from the cottage is the colourful market town of Skibbereen, known for its fine array of Irish pubs, live music, and quirky shops.

The quaint, 150-year-old cottage enjoys a south-facing aspect, and is set in a small, private cul-de-sac. A myriad of period features gives the cottage personality and charm, along with a fine blend of style and furnishings. On the ground floor is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with plenty of comfortable seating set around an open fire and TV/DVD, the perfect spot to curl up and relax. Tucked around the corner is a cute kitchen area with everything you need to whip up tasty dinners, to be enjoyed at the nearby dining table with ample space for guests. Upstairs, two inviting bedrooms await with their sloping ceilings and airy skylights. Choose from a cosy double, or a family room with a double and a single bed. Serving the bedrooms and completing the cottage is a well-appointed and convenient family bathroom.

Outside, enjoy al fresco meals on the raised, decked area, soaking up the sunshine and taking in the fabulous coastal views. At ground level, an attractive, lawned garden envelops the property.
