We really enjoyed our stay at Drimna Lodge. The grounds are beautiful and the house is really well decorated and the room sizes are really large with plenty of storage. It was peaceful and having the seating and chiminea outside was wonderful. One thing I absolutely adored was the towels - they were both plentiful and so soft!! Neighbours were loveRead morely and even had a couple of visits from one of their dogs - so friendly. The utility was really handy after coming back from the beach of which there are loads of stunning ones within half an hour. Sneem village itself is lovely and so friendly. There were a couple of things we would do to improve. Firstly, the en-suite toilet didn't work. We were told about this on check in and that someone would be out on the Monday to fix it but they didn't. Not too much of a problem as there are two other toilets. Also, the oven door didn't close properly which made cooking a bit tricky. We ended up putting something in front of the door to hold it shut and cooked things for longer to compensate for any loss of temperature. Finally, the master mattress really wasn't great. We tried turning it the other way around but it still felt like it dipped in the middle and was really thin despite having a mattress topper. Hide

The cottage is lovely and location is nice but had a lot of trouble with midges and mosquitos and could not open windows at all so had to suffer a very stuffy hot house for most of our stay. There is also no coffee machine in the house.

Lovely stylish house and impeccably clean in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our week as we were able to drive around and visit lots of places in Kerry but come home at the end of the day to the house which was quiet, peaceful and private . Would recommend this lovely house to anyone.

Sehr schne Lage, alleinstehend und mitten im Grnen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und man fhlt sich sehr wohl in diesem architektonisch gelungenen Alt- und Neubau.
