This attractive, remote cottage sits on the slopes of the Slieve Mish Mountains on the Dingle Peninsula, and boasts stunning views across Castlemaine Harbour and the dunes of Inch Strand. The property sleeps six guests and has a sociable, open-plan layout that’s perfect for family get-togethers and holidays with friends. Keen walkers will be in their element here, with exhilarating tracks and trails in all directions, including along the Wild Atlantic Way, which hugs the coastline, and the Kerry Camino Trail that leads through the mountains to Dingle. Inch Strand (6 miles) has a vast expanse of golden sand and, on a summer’s day, is the perfect place for a peaceful picnic. It’s also a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. The nearby village of Annascual (5 miles) has a good range of traditional Irish pubs, along with intriguing galleries and studios showcasing local artwork.

The bright and airy, detached cottage is decorated in neutral tones, with contemporary furniture and accessories. At the heart of the home is a spacious, open-plan lounge/diner boasting spectacular coastal views. Spend time here relaxing on the comfortable seating near the crackling wood burner, as the TV/DVD plays your favourite films. When it’s time to eat, gather around the nearby dining table to enjoy the culinary delights of the kitchen in the next room - spacious and well-equipped, with another dining table. When day turns to night, find the three welcoming bedrooms, all boasting cosy double beds, one of which offers an additional, fold-out single bed. Serving the bedrooms and completing the cottage is a well-appointed and convenient family bathroom.

We have stayed in many properties in Inch - but this has everything! Amazing views, lovely log burner & lots of extras not usually included. The cottage is warm & cosy - we definitely hope to return soon.
