This traditional cottage is nestled within a tranquil part of Carne, County Wexford and has an olde worlde interior, which is a welcome sight after blustery days on the shore. Spend quality time with your loved ones sunbathing and building sandcastles on Carne Beach (0.5 miles) or the sands of Curracloe or Rosslare, both within 20 miles of the house. Within 11 miles of the home are two 18-hole golf courses for the keen golfers of the group, while the avid hikers may like to trek the 4-mile route from Carne Beach to Churchtown, taking in the panoramic views along the coastal path. Within 1 mile, you'll find a pub and a restaurant, both serving delicious eats for topping up hungry tummies. With fabulous routes and golden beaches leading from the property, there is something here for everyone.

This quaint four-bedroom cottage has a spacious layout with comfort considered at every turn. Enter the lounge/diner to cosy up in front of the fire or catch up with a TV series. The cottage is very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities and in a lovely location in easy walking distance of the beautiful local beaches. Although the main part of the cottage is dark due to the size and number of windows, the sun room gets the sun all day.and has a comfortable sofa and armchairs with a large coffee table. It also has aRead more lovely garden with apple trees and outside patio with plentiful seats. We had a lovely stay and the owner was easily contactable with any queries and responded very quickly to the few we had. We would certainly stay there again and would wholeheartedly recommend it to.others. Hide

This has been our second stay in the cottage. It was off - season so very quiet but we loved having all the family together in isolation and loved been back at the property which is situated in the most perfect location if you wish to explore the wider region. We always leave Ballask cottage with new loving memories.
