Sleeping six guests, the cottage is perfectly placed for exploring this magnificent landscape. Lively Dungloe, 4 miles away, offers shops, traditional pubs and restaurants serving delicious seafood, fresh from the Atlantic. Catch the ferry from Burtonpoint (11 miles) for the short crossing to Arranmore. You can hire a bike to explore this tranquil island and its remarkable Megalithic monuments. From Burtonpoint, you can also hop on a sea safari trip around the offshore islands, looking out for friendly dolphins and other wildlife.

Spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished, the cottage’s open-plan layout provides a glorious outlook from every window. Comfortable seating and a solid-fuel stove create a cosy sitting space, while the country kitchen and dining area have ample space for creative cooks and companionable dining. Ard Aoibhinn cottage is compact and comfortable. Really easy to cook and wash. Beautiful views and comfortable beds and sofa. The caretaker was easy to contact and very helpful. WiFi and tv worked for us and the children. Plenty of games for them to play with. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Fabulous location, great views and friendly locals in town. Be prepared for a steep hill though - views come at a price.

Nice and very confortable cottage in a very quiet place, with nice view. Many lovely beaches in the surrondings, great walks in the nearby National park. Many shops in Dungloe for food and pubs. We totally recommend.
