Besides local Duncannon Beach (250 metres), discover Carnivan Bay (6 miles) - a spotless beach encircled by sloping dunes. Alternatively, witness the oldest operating lighthouse in the world at Hook Head (8 miles). Reach the top for breathtaking sweeping views of the Hook Peninsula and the Irish Sea.

Step inside and you’ll find a lovely and spacious home-away-from-home bathed in natural light. Take a moment to unwind in the inviting lounge before making your way to the elegantly rustic kitchen to whip up some dinner. Get the gang together to eat in the dining area – it's bathed in natural light from the doors that lead out to the decked area. After dinner, warm your toes in front of the glowing open fire in the lounge while you catch up on your favourite TV shows. Perfect location, spotlessly clean comfy bed our second visit can't recommend it enough. Make sure you book a table at the Strand great food completed great property.
