Whilst not actually overlooking the sea, this cottage is otherwise perfectly located for a family seaside holiday. Just a few steps and you are at the beach. The property itself is really spacious and the beds comfortable. Off-road parking is a real bonus. It is generally well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the Hook PeninsulaRead more. Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. To stroll down and see the harbour, beach and estuary each sunny morning was fabulous. For spectacular beaches, Dollar Bay and Dunmore East across the estuary were beautiful. Hide

Good spacious house, with all amenities you require. There is a local shop, a restaurant (the strand) food was excellent and reasonably priced you will need to book, a pub (roaches) they also served food which was fantastic and good service. There is a fish and chip shop but we didn't use this. All these are all within a couple of minutes walk alonRead moreg with a fantastic beach. The bakery on the beach serves fresh coffee and would recommend the cinnamon buns!. You will need a car to explore this area of Ireland, 40 mins to Wexford and you can use the Passage East Ferry to Waterford but prebook your tickets online as they can be cheaper if buying more than one single crossing.
