Located on the edge of a World Heritage site and within walking distance of the beautiful walks and waterfalls of Kennall Vale woods, Clippity Clop is a comfortable detached single storey wooden lodge, benefiting from its own outside space, within the grounds of the owner's home. There are stunning views over ten acres of fields and woodland where the owners sometimes keep their Shire horse, the valley is a wildlife and bird watcher’s paradise with frequently spotted deer, woodpeckers and finches to name but a few! Loved our very relaxing stay at Clippity Clop. The accommodation was clean, stylish and very well equipped. Loads of plug sockets! The additional utility room had a washing machine in and there was a line to dry clothes if needed. Plenty of recycling bins too. The towels for the bathroom were soft and fluffy and there was also a hairdryer. It was Read moreso quiet. Saw lots of wildlife including deer, fox, heron and woodpecker. It was an excellent base to explore Cornwall from. Easy to find with directions from the owners. Very dog friendly and safe too. We loved that we could open the doors but the fencing meant our dog couldnt go anywhere. Lovely long drive to walk her on first thing in the morning and last thing at night and she loved meeting Tom and Amos the heavy horses, as did we. We would highly recommend and would love to come back again. Hide

Cosy, warm little lodge in a beautiful location overlooking a valley. Very nice 'welcome' cream tea. Very quiet and peaceful but easy access to A39 and surrounding area for sightseeing/days out. The local village pub, within walking distance was closed ufn, but The Norway Inn, a 5 minute drive is excellent.
