Property code: OC-FLORA

Set in a secluded corner of the group of converted barns known as Mayon Farm, with a wrap-around garden which to the rear looks out over glorious countryside, Flora Belle Cottage is set all on the ground floor so offers good accessibility for less mobile guests. With two double bedrooms and two bathrooms the facilities for a small family, two couples or just two friends are perfect and your dog is welcome too! The kitchen provides all the appliances you may need and the cosy living room with modern woodburning stove ensures your comfort during those cooler times of year. You’ll find it within walking distance of the local store, fish & chip shop and the First & Last Inn – the legendary village Pub.

Sennen Cove boasts one of the loveliest stretches of sand in Cornwall - White Sands Beach, and still retains much of the atmosphere of an old fishing village. Sennen is very close to Land’s End and is well placed for walks along the South West Coast Path providing the most stunning views across the ocean. There are numerous ancient sites in the area in addition to relics from the once thriving tin mining industry. A 10 minute walk via the footpath opposite Mayon Farm will take you down to the stunning, sandy beach. Stunning Porthcurno with its wonderful beach and the famous  clifftop Minack Theatre are within a 10 minute drive, as is historic St Just. Also well worth doing is a trip along the coast to St Ives either by car or the local  bus which will drop you off at various stops. Utterly spectacular scenery to enjoy.

Flora Belle suits us down to the ground and after three times at this property and a fourth later this year, we love the peace and quiet, dog friendly, and the ability to visit our favourite restaurants whilst staying in this comfortable property.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage but would say that the accommodation requires some updating. The cottage is surrounded by private homes but this did not cause an issue. The driveway to the property is very dangerous with large potholes which could cause damage to visitors and their vehicles. The cream tea was a nice touch.

Flora-Belle in first glance is a beautiful little place to relax and unwind. Very cosy, spacious and comfortable cottage, in a perfect location for sennen beach. Excellent location and perfect base to explore. Sennen cove is a short walk with lovely views. The open top bus going to Penzance and at Ives was great value for money with loads to see on the way. Would highly recommend Flora belle cottage to anyone looking to stay In Cornwall.

The cottage was FANTASTIC and the Cornish Horizons staff were really friendly and helpful every time we rang for additional information regarding accessibility for my 94-year-old mum. The ONLY downside was that there are NO grab rails in the showers or by the toilets, which meant she had to have assistance every time she needed the toilet, and she Read morecouldn't use the showers safely at all.
