Beautifully converted old chapel in a relatively quiet residential area of Scarborough, within 10 mins walk of a supermarket, bus stops, railway station and town centre, 15 mins to the promenade and Peasholme Park. Downstairs is large and open plan with a good kitchen area, 6 seater dining table and comfortable lounge area, with a large tv. A sepRead morearate TV lounge area is available which is ideal for watching a movie with a drink or two. My son has the downstairs double with bathroom just across the hall and he found it very comfortable, my daughter had one of the single rooms on the first floor and again found it very comfortable. My wife and I had the good sized double with en suite. Throughout the decor is clean and airy, and good central heating keeping the whole accomodation warm. We would definitely consider coming back next time we are in the area. Hide

No washing machine among a few other issues. I assumed it would have a washing machine , that was my fault for not reading the inventory properly but I have spent the last 20 years renting holiday homes and I've never stayed in one without a washing machine until now. The location of the chapel is in the middle of a row of terraced houses about 2Read more0 min walk from seafront. Hide

Good location to reach both North Bay and South Bay. A mile down to either sea front was perfect. A very spacious property which suited all of us (2 children and 4 adults) Ample parking

First class accomodtion, with everything as described in the promotional material. Patio garden was a little disappointing, but did not spoil our holiday. Prior to stay we were concerned about parking for two cars. Should not have worried as there was always spaces on the road close to the property and having car park permits was reassuring. The property is beautiful. The maintenance company needs to improve their service. It took them 4 days to establish the problem with the electric shower and replace it. I felt as though I was in work dealing with the phone calls. Not what a holiday is about.

The property decor and ultra modern style is outstanding. Plenty of TVs for larger groups to watch their favourite shows in separate areas. Only a short 10 minute walk into town and the railway station. Would recommend this property as an ideal place to stay.

We were delighted with Cloud Recess. It was spacious, stylish and so comfortable. Also it was spotlessly clean. It was well equipped too. Good location, only a few minutes walk to the centre of Scarborough. Its a little gem. We were able to park right outside the property, which was a bonus.

The house worked well for us staying in Scarborough. There were issues with the keys which did not work well. It was not a scenic location but suited us as two families meeting up and we enjoyed our stay. Facilities were good, but I've sent you an email with concerns about the plumbing. Interiors were not our taste but it was a fun place to spend aRead more few days and everything was very clean. Hide
