This stunning bolthole for eight is the perfect place to escape to the country with all your favourite people. Fairstead is a beautiful retreat enveloped by rolling fields as far as the eye can see with a cool, calm, and contemporary interior design.

Step inside this glorious home which has plenty of open social spaces to come together. The bespoke kitchen is fully fitted with all you could need during your stay and a fabulous bar area to enjoy your favourite tipples! The pièce de resistance of this fabulous home is in the orangery - A beautiful glass room equipped with large dining table and views across the garden and fields beyond. Sunsets in this room are just magnificent with the pinkie-orange sky creating a warm and welcoming evening light to revel in.

Two living spaces offer guests flexibility for their stay. The snug has a squishy sofa and roaring open fire in addition to a smart television with access to plenty of great movies whilst the living room boasts sumptuous sofas, a smart television and French doors leading to the terrace and garden. There is also a handy office to work, read or write.

Upstairs hosts all the bedrooms with two lovely twin rooms perfect for children (and adults!) to share. There is a charming kingsize bedroom with superb views across the fields as well as a gorgeous bathroom and shower room for these three bedrooms to use. The main bedroom offers a place of calm and relaxation with a neutral colour palette of earthy tones and wonderful open ensuite bathroom.

Outside doesn’t disappoint with an acre of enclosed garden laid to lawn, a table tennis table, and terrace equipped with fire pit, and BBQ. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to al fresco breakfasts, lazy lunches, and delicious dinners.

Spexhall is a small hamlet on the outskirts of Halesworth and close by to the popular coastal hotspots of Southwold and Walberswick. Halesworth boasts many excellent local and independent shops, eateries, and pubs as well as a handy Co-op for picking up the essentials and a petrol station. The coast is within easy reach by car or further inland the likes of Bungay, Beccles and Framlingham.

Wonderful house and garden. Both dogs and owners had a wonderful time and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Worked well with a multi generational group.

Three generations of our family stayed at Fairstead. It provided us with everything we wanted from the holiday. Space for the grandchildren to play, enough room for us all to be together, or, separate. A beautiful house in a beautiful location, equipped with everything you could need. Any queries were quickly sorted by the lovely housekeeper.

We had an excellent holiday at Fairstead- for three generations of family, there was lots of space in this beautiful property. We enjoyed a BBQ together and lots of meals gathered around the huge dining table.
