Sea Breeze is a contemporary, coastal-themed, pet-friendly chalet, situated on The Gower Peninsula. This holiday chalet features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with wall-mounted TV, soft seating, stylish breakfast bar as well as dining table with chairs and a well-equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for 4 people in a double bed and bunk bed. Located on the grounds of Summercliffe Chalet Park with on-site Wi-Fi, parking and garden with high quality outdoor furniture this holiday home is idyllic for exploring Gower, Mumbles and surrounding areas. 

Minutes away from the golden sands of Caswell Bay, Sea Breeze provides the perfect base. Head east and you will find the superb Langland Bay Golf Club, often referred to as the 'Welsh Pebble Beach', Langland Bay, a favourite for locals and visitors alike with iconic green beach huts, and further on you will reach the hustle and bustle of Mumbles with Swansea Bay on its doorstep. Heading west from Summercliffe Chalet Park will lead you to the small village of Bishopston with three pubs, a playground and small beach set in a cove called Pwll Du Bay. Follow the coastal path round and you will reach the spectacular beaches of Three Cliffs, Oxwich and Rhossili, all of which are dog-friendly all year round.

Ground Floor

  • Kitchen: Open plan, well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, under-counter fridge with icebox, microwave and breakfast bar with seating for 2.
  • Living/Dining Area: Open plan lounge with sofa, side table and wall-mounted Smart TV. Extendable dining table which seats 4 but extends to 6 utilising 2 breakfast bar stools. Portable electric heater and full length mirror.
  • Bedroom 1: Double bed with under-bed storage drawers, side tables with table lamps, electric wall heater and clothes hooks to rear of door. 
  • Bedroom 2: Bunk beds with under bed storage drawer, triple wardrobe with full length mirror to front of one door, large chest of drawers with hairdryer, electric wall heater and clothes hooks to rear of door.
  • Shower Room: Walk in power shower, WC, floor standing vanity unit with hairdryer inside and hand basin, electric chrome heated towel rail and mirrored wall cabinet.

Garden

  • Totally enclosed balcony and decking area which surrounds the chalet with gated entrance ensuring a safe environment for young children and dogs.
  • Grey rattan sofa and 2 chairs with grey cushions and table to corner of front decking.
  • Glass table and 4 chairs with grey parasol to front of decking.
  • Storage bench to rear of chalet with shed containing charcoal BBQ.
  • External tap and clothes line.

Sea Breeze is a perfect home for a short break for 2. It's a small footprint & most likely to be cramped for any more guests, storage & space in general is restricted. It's well finished & equipped but beware of the (lack of) WiFi if it's a 'must have'. It's a shared system across the site & wasn't working when we stayed, no smart TV & no InternetRead more was a little frustrating. The 4G is very poor in the area too, tethering isn't an option. It's well suited to access Caswell Bay, the caf, surf school etc as well as the coastal path & Bishops Wood opposite - perfect if you bring a dog. If you do have mobility issues then beware access is up a steep road & then steep & narrow steps - parking is 50m away. Hide

Fabulous property. Yards from the beach and the property is decorated in a beach theme. Parking is on site and the view from the decking is great. This is a lovely property and will be a contender for future visits.

Really enjoyed staying at Sea Breeze. Very near to the beach and great view over the chalet park. Did find the slope and the steps tough but did know about the steps beforehand. But if you are reasonably fit they just make you puff a bit. The chalet had a lovely seaside theme and looked very newly decorated. I took all my own cleaning stuff and bRead morein bags but didn't need to as they were all supplied. There are also recycling bins at the back which were well used by us. We found the bedrooms a bit small but didn't spoil our stay. Plenty of board games and books to keep everyone entertained. Situated about a ten minute drive from Mumbles, but other attractions we visited were and hour to an hour and half drive away. Hide
