Shillingstones is a charming, traditional Cornish cottage, located in a quiet lane in the pretty village of St Teath, with a pub a few minutes walk away. The 2 storey semi-detached cottage consists of a bright, open-plan kitchen/diner, a cosy lounge, 2 bedrooms ( one with en-suite shower room), a family bathroom and a pretty, enclosed garden.

There is plenty to do and see nearby. The recently opened Sea View Farm Shop is a very popular new local venue, with hearty breakfasts at weekends, coffee and delicious cakes always available, and also hosts a number of musical events in the season. Stunning coastal views to enjoy whilst you relax. Options for a day on the beach include the beautiful beach of Trebarwith Strand about 3 miles away, and wonderful Polzeath and Daymer Bay are also within easy reach. You could while away the hours in small coastal villages such as Port Isaac, Port Quin, Port Gaverne and Boscastle, or you can immerse yourself in the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel. Away from the coast, countryside walks can be enjoyed from the village and the wide and wild expanses of Bodmin Moor are a short drive away - dotted around the edge of the moor you will find several villages, most of them with pubs offering a warm welcome and good food.

This is such a welcoming, homely cottage. We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. It's in a incredibly quiet and peaceful setting, but just 2 minutes walk from the village pub and a cafe. The cottage is equipped with everything you might need and is very well maintained.

Shilling stones is a beautiful cottage that exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean. We found the kitchen to be well-equipped, with items such as soap, dishwasher tablets, cooking oil proving a helpful touch. There was also a small welcome package with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and some lovely biscuits. The bedrooms were comfortableRead more and the bathrooms had modern fittings - including great showers. Although the lounge was smaller than average, it was cosy and comfortable; the spacious kitchen diner provides additional space if needed. The people we met in the village were friendly. The nearby town of Camelford has a small supermarket, as well as larger options in Wadebridge and Bodmin. We enjoyed our days out in the local area and farther afield. Hide

We had a great stay at Shillingstones. The cottage is cosy but comfortable, is very well presented, clean and well kitted out. The master room has a huge bed and lovely ensuite. It's in a great location only 12 minutes to Tintagel, 25 minutes to Rock and 40 minutes to Padstow. The linen was nice, the towels big and soft and the beds comfy. Also verRead morey nice and quiet at night. The garden is small and enclosed, but we didn't really need to use it. A lovely little cottage. Hide

Nice cosy cottage, nicely located in a really nice, quiet village. Good location for travelling Port Issac etc. Parking bay opposite the cottage is a real positive as the road is narrow.

The property was exceptionally clean and well presented. It was great to have a large parking area and the garden was pleasant. There is a local pub within a short walk, serving good food with a varied menu. The very large double bed was extremely comfortable and the en suite an added bonus.
