If you like walking, climbing, running or cycling, there is an abundance of routes available in the vicinity, as well as good access to the surrounding Lakeland Fells. If you're a keen golfer, you are only a few miles from your nearest course or explore Bassenthwaite, which is more than just a picturesque lake and quaint village, it is home to the Lakes Distillery producing local gin, whisky and vodka. It’s also home to the Lake District Wildlife Park with over 100 species of animals, perfect for a fun day out with the family.

Entry is through the front door into the hallway, leading into a good sized open plan lounge/dining room. The lounge area has a Smart TV, wood burner, sofa and chair and two large windows, plus a spacious dining table seating four. The newly renovated kitchen has a good sized fridge (with ice box), washing machine, electric oven, hob, microwave and is well equipped with everything you could need, if you enjoy cooking.
Up to the first floor is the master bedroom which has a pretty wooden double bed, wardrobe and drawers. The second bedroom also features a double bed, for space and comfort, and has space for a cot should one be required (a cot and highchair are available at the property). The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
The property benefits from wifi throughout and a parking space 20 yards away. For ease, you can unload the car directly outside the cottage, before moving to the parking space.
