Upper Black Rock is a spacious two-bedroom maisonette, modernised in Autumn 2023, encompassing both the first and second floor of a large traditional townhouse. Situated on a sought after, south facing position in St Ives. The property is a short walk to the picturesque harbour and characterful town centre bustling with many shops and restaurants. The property has a fabulous south facing outside terrace, perfect for those warmer evenings where you can enjoy dining al fresco with glimpses of sea views. 

The entrance to the building is via 10 granite steps with a handrail and then stairs to the apartment entrance on the first floor. There is one other apartment on the ground floor. For those larger parties, why not book the ground floor apartment Lower Black Rock too?

FIRST FLOOR:
Lounge/Diner:
A super room with two windows to the front, one being a large bay window with glorious views across the town and out to sea. A perfect spot to relax in the easy chair and watch the weather at any time of year. There is a comfy sofa (which converts to a sofa bed however guests will need to bring their own bedding), Smart TV and dining table which seats four guests whilst taking in the views.
Kitchen: To the rear of the property with an electric induction hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

SECOND FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, hanging space, chest of drawers, TV and windows to the rear and front of the property, again taking in the wonderful views.
Cloakroom: Hand wash basin and WC.

Please note the stairs may be considered steep and narrow and therefore not suitable for those with limited mobility.

OUTSIDE AND PARKING: South facing terrace with plum and fig trees, a decked area, barbeque, and outdoor seating. No private parking, public car parks nearby.

Pets: Maximum one well-behaved dog welcome for an additional charge.
Power and Heat: Electric heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen (with exception to sofa bed) and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment:  Highchair and travel cot provided.
Beach: 0.3 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

Superb location but if anybody has a mobility problem the route down to and from the town is quite a climb.

It is a really nice cottage with a lot of space. The best is the view from the livingroom.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in an excellent location, quiet but so close to town and the beaches. Main issue was the confusion over the lack of a parking space which meant one had to park in a long stay car park a third of a mile away. This posed problems when returning from a day out as there were not always spaces available but you had aRead morelready paid for a week's parking. Hide

Lovely apartments located in the heart of St Ives. Everything is within 5 minutes walking distance. Every you need is provided for - home from home. Very comfortable mattresses. Only issue might be access for some people as it's located at the top of the hill so you need to be fit. We loved the property and location and were very impressed that you resolved the problem with the hot water on a Sunday and made a follow up call the next day to check everything was ok.
