Trackside Cottage, overlooking the steam railway and dating back to the 18th century, has undergone an extensive, no expense spared renovation, being fitted with a solid ash kitchen and granite worktops, cosy dining nook, ideal for sitting around together and discussing plans for the following day, and the charming lounge with many original features. Spot the salt cupboard next to the inglenook fireplace. Lounge: This room has some beautiful original beams and built-in salt cupboard. The living room has been beautifully designed and boasts a comfy sofa and two relaxing armchairs, one tucked away in a quiet corner with table and lamp, perfect for reading, and one with an oversized footstool. There is a coffee table under the window and a Smart TV on a stand. From the window, you can watch the trains setting off on their journey across the moors to Whitby.
FIRST FLOOR:
Staircase: This leads from the living room, 13 steps with open balustrades lead up to the upstairs landing.
Bedroom 1: A lovely traditional bedroom, having a Double bed, plenty of wardrobe space and two bedside cabinets with lamps. The window with beam above also adds to the overall cottage feel of this pretty room.
En-Suite: With a double shower, WC and vanity wash basin.
Bedroom 2: Another lovely room with a real cottage feel. Here you will find a double bed, a wardrobe for those holiday outfits and a dressing table with mirror. This looks out over the front of the cottage towards the railway line.

Garden: The garden is a lovely feature of this property; a real bonus. Accessed via steep steps at the rear of the cottage, it is a gravelled patio area with a painted bistro set and plenty of pots with colourful flowers.
