The Nest has its own secluded garden behind its sister property, The Albatross. The nest is surrounded by its own private garden but is accessed by climbing some steps up from the drive level. Larger parties may wish to rent both properties simultaneously at an advantageous rate. The Albatross is available here.

This detached 1–bedroomed annex is ideal for a couple who love to be beside the sea and relish not having to use the car. Just 200 meters from the award-winning Woolacombe beach, visitors are attracted by surfing, paddleboarding, sunbathing and sand-castle building, although this is also prime walking country with spectacular coastal trails past the colony of basking seals starting literally on the doorstep. Guests can easily saunter into the centre of Woolacombe and enjoy refreshments at the independent bars, cafes and ice-cream parlours, or perhaps pick up supplies to enjoy back at the house, inside or out.

A generous open plan space offers a lounge with comfortable seating, TV with surround sound, a woodburner and a view to the open ocean. There is a dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette. The separate bedroom has double aspect windows with garden views to catch the sun rising over the hills, a kingsize bed and wardrobe. The bathroom has a capacious shower.

The Nest has a living green roof and has triple doors opening onto a large fully enclosed garden with paved patio area, outdoor furniture and sloping lawn. There is a raised decking area offering sea views.

Living area: Open plan with bifold doors to the garden and large window with ocean views, log burner and comfy Lounge area, HD TV with streaming services, surround sound, bluetooth streaming, dining table and chairs, separate small desk area. A kitchenette area has fitted units, electric oven, induction hob, fridge, microwave and sink.

Bedroom: Separate bedroom with kingsize bed, wardrobe and bedside tables.

Bathroom: Large shower, WC and handbasin.

Linen and heating: Linen and towels inclusive. Underfloor heating.

Had a great stay at The Nest and would recommend it for a comfortable and cosy stay. Clean, Kitchen perfect for a short stay lovely bathroom and comfy bed. The location is close to the town and the beach with a great view from the front window. Nick & Karen

The property was really nice, and big enough for the two of us. Just a short walk to the beach, the shops and restaurants. The time of the year was perfect, peaceful and freedom also nice weather. A lovely place.

This is the second time we have rented the nest along with our extended family in the albatross and find that this arrangement is very satisfactory. Just needs a toilet roll holder in the splendid bathroom and a hanging space for outdoor clothes.
