This former Fisherman’s cottage has been lovingly renovated without losing its traditional period charm.  It is in a perfect location in the centre of Appledore on a cobbled pedestrian street next to The Market Café providing you with a good excuse to sample a Devon cream tea. Once satisfied you can then take a leisurely stroll along the Quay, visit the North Devon Maritime Museum, or take a seasonal Ferry which takes you across to the sandy beach of Instow. The family seaside resort of Westward Ho is a 10 minute drive with it’s 2.5km surfing beach and array of shops and restaurants, whilst the historic port town of Bideford is only 10 minutes drive, here you can hire bikes and explore miles and miles of flat tarka trail.

Cosy Nook, is small but perfectly formed for a family of four or two couples looking to explore the magnificent North Devon Coast! Once inside you are sure to be charmed by it's comfortable living room with feature fire place and the bright kitchen diner which leads on to a small walled private courtyard area perfect for that evening Sundowner! Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with King size bed and the other with Zip and Link twin (which can be converted to a Super- King on request) both are comfortable and inviting, and the family bathroom has a bath with wall mounted shower. Parking can be found at one of the local car parks, everything in Appledore is in easy reach.

Living room: Sofa and two armchairs, 32" TV, feature fireplace and window seat.

Dining room: With tiled floor, Dining table and chairs for 4 and sofa.

Kitchen: Electric oven and gas hob, Microwave, Dishwasher, Smeg fridge/ freezer and washing machine

Bedroom 1: Spacious room with wrought iron King size bed, dressing table and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2: Two 3' Twin Zip and Link beds (can convert to super king on request) Built in storage and hanging space and chest of drawers.

Bathroom: with bath, shower over bath, heated towel rail, W.C. and hand basin. 

Pets: One pet welcome

Outside: Walled enclosed courtyard garden with patio furniture.

Parking: Local car park or on the Quay.

Power & Heat: Gas and Electricity included in Rent.

We spent Christmas at Cosy Nook and had a very special time, it's our second time staying there at Christmas and would definitely book again.

Cosy Nook is in an idyllic location close to the harbour and surrounded by shops, cafes/restaurants/pubs and other local amenities. The cottage is traditionally quaint, well equipped and comfortable. Main gripe sofa not big enough in front room, TV could be larger as well,rear area needs some TLC done on it, although we really enjoyed it very tranquil cottage, location you could not fault, pub's very friendly lovely village.
