This gorgeous cabin outperforms in every way! Beautifully presented with five-star touches such as fresh flowers, sumptuous bedlinen, fantastic water pressure and top-of-the-range kitchen appliances. The lovely owner goes above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, including games both indoor and outside, Read moreas well as eggs, bread, milk and butter to ensure you won't starve on arrival. The cabin is situated at the top of a hill with breathtaking views across the treetops of the Tresillian River valley. You are overlooked only by a field of gentle horses and scampering rabbits. The garden is perfect for small children and dogs: generous, full of interesting corners, and completely enclosed even for a small and curious Bedlington Terrier. There are glorious farmland and riverside walks right on the doorstep, yet you are only 5 minutes from a large Waitrose and Truro. Perfectly positioned to explore both north and south coasts of mid-Cornwall. My only concern in recommending Mimosa so highly is that it might become so popular that we cannot return as soon as we hope! Hide

The Deem the owner, made me feel very welcome on my arrival and during my stay. In case I arrived later than anticipated she had provided a number of items so I could prepare myself a meal. The lodge is very attractive inside and out. Even at this time year, it was pleasant to wander in the garden. A number of times, when the sun was out, I wasRead more able to sit in the porch area and watch my dog enjoy himself in the garden which is very safe not only for dogs, but I would say, also for children. Fantastic property with a fantastic host. Beautiful cornish gardens (exotic planting) that make us really feel on holiday. The property has all we need and we love the one level accessabilty (doors, rooms, showers) for our older legs. This is our second time here and I suspect we will be back again. Thank you Dee

A most beautiful dog friendly place to stay, the cottage is absolutely immaculate, very well furnished and equipped, the beds are so incredibly comfortable and the garden is very dog safe (so long as your dog cannot/will not easily jump a 3 foot fence) You can really see and appreciate just how much time and love has gone in to making this a great Read moreplace to stay. If you are considering booking to stay here I would say just do it as it is fabulous oh and make sure you pop in to Marys Pastys in the village as they are some of the absolute best in Cornwall Hide

Cannot rate this property highly enough. Beautiful location and stunning accommodation. Owners were amazing hosts, lovely welcome pack and fresh flowers provided., a lovely touch. Lodge was pristine, beds extremely comfortable. Had the most relaxing week and would not hesitate to book again. Five stars all the way.

Dee had thought of everything, slow cooker, air fryer etc. She had put fresh flowers from the garden and a welcome pack of eggs, bread, butter, milk, tea & coffee. The garden was great for the dog and there was parking for the car. The accommodation was at the very top of the garden which is quite hilly. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is a wonderful cottage in a remarkable location. If you want close to silence with squiirels, birds and other wildlife cavorting about, you won't be disappointed. The hosts are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble for them, but they keep out of the way and let you get on with enjoying their place. That's how hosts should be. We really liked this cottage. It was extremely clean, well equipped, it felt private but not remote, lots of birds singing and squirrels running about. Our dog loved it too. The garden was secure so we didnt have to worry. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, the kitchen was clean and well equipped. Everything was great.

Polsue Gardens is an ideal getaway, superbly located with every imaginable comfort. Spotlessly clean, stylishly designed with a tasteful choice of furnishings, spacious, well-equipped and lovingly prepared, we immediately felt at home. The modern kitchen and cosy living room area was very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. Dee was the Read moreperfect host and gave us a very warm welcome with kind gifts of bread, fresh vegetables, eggs and beautiful bouquets of flowers. The fenced and very well kept garden was a pleasure to behold and the trees and picturesque view over the surrounding countryside created a peaceful environment in which we could relax and recover. Our dog appreciated the freedom of having the garden and we were relieved she was safe to roam and explore to her hearts content. The squirrels were also a delight. The guestbook was a good idea, not least because of the previous guests recommendations about things to do and places to visit. This is a fantastic property. It is well located to see Cornwall but very peaceful. The cabin is pure luxury and the owner has thought of everything. Owner is at hand if you need any assistance; she is very helpful. It is spotlessly clean. The garden is spectacular and it feels like a real retreat. We loved it. We will definitely be back!
