We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rhyd y Fen, the owner was excellent in providing clear information via WhatsApp on how to find the property, where to park and even gave us an earlier arrival which we appreciated! I asked plenty of questions about the area and he gave lots of recommendations. The cottage itself was just lovely, you can feel how muRead morech love and care has gone into it and how proud the owners are, from restoring the property to what it is today, reading their journey was interesting. Enjoying the hot tub in the garden on a sunny day was bliss, the garden itself is a little oasis, and we enjoyed making use of the fresh herbs growing organically. The fire was super cosy on an evening and we felt we had so much space. The cottage was both cosy, spacious, light and airy. The welcome pack was so generous too, and unexpected! This felt like a gift upon arrival, especially the delicious cake and fresh eggs. Thank you so much for providing a much needed break away and time to switch off. Hide

This was our second stay here and it was as good as we remember. The cottage is lovely and cozy and has everything you need. It's great that you can walk to the shops but still feel like you're out of the way when you are in the cottage. The roof over the hot tub is great as you can use it in all weather.
