The fabulous and recently refurbished ‘Brightseas’ (once owned by P. D. James) is just a stone’s throw from the much loved Southwold High Street and sandy beach making this a fantastic holiday location for family and friends to gather in.  The property is deceptively spacious and stylishly furnished throughout. The owners have made sure to think of every comfort for their guests.

With accommodation set out over three floors, ‘Brightseas’ has a twin/king bedroom with ensuite shower room on the ground floor which leads out onto the shared courtyard.  The other two bedrooms are on the first and top floors. This self-catering holiday home has a fabulous kitchen with views across to the sea.  The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and even boasts a coffee machine. The cosy sitting room and diner have lovely windows overlooking the street.  A calming room, perfect for relaxing after a busy day on the beach or exploring the Suffolk Coast.  The master bedroom with its king size bed has the real wow factor.  From here you can enjoy stunning views over the beach to the sea.  Sit on the small balcony and ponder on your plans for the day with an early morning coffee or unwind with evening sundowners. Parking: No parking directly outside property however, on street, the ideal spot to unload / load the car is opposite Brightseas, on Trinity Street.  There are three spaces where you can park for up to 2 hours, between 8am – 6pm.  

Pets: Sorry no pets.
Heating: Gas central heating.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic position, exceptionally clean and well equipped. Close to everything including pubs, shops and restaurants. An amazing time had by all and will definitely be going back to Southwold and also this cottage.

The property is very well situated for both the beach and the town. The property was clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a great time, the gift bag with treats on arrival was a lovely touch.

Fab holiday rental for 3 couples as bedrooms are all very private and good size. Kitchen stocked with good quality glasses etc. May not be advisable for a family as to gain access to garden you have to go through downstairs bedroom, lots of small stairs too! Would use again!

Well equipped and comfortable cottage in a great location. Southwold is a delightful town with plenty of shops and restaurants, as well as its glorious beach.

Brightsea was such a beautiful place, so welcoming and in a perfect location, everything so close by , beach , shops, pubs etc lovely welcome pack too.
