Wortwell is a small hamlet located in the Waveney Valley. A great central base to explore all of the local towns and villages; the market town of Diss is 10 miles away, as well as The Cathedral and cultural City of Norwich, which are approximately 18 miles from Wortwell. Leisure facilities locally include golf and swimming at Bungay and Diss, sailing and fishing in Harleston and Bungay, and there are theatres in Bungay, Southwold and Norwich. Boats are available to hire on the nearby Norfolk Broads that are approximately 10 miles away. All within 35 miles either direction of the hamlet is Pleasurewood Hills Adventure Park, Lowestoft on the coast, Go Ape and Thetford Forest to the West. Southwold, a charming seaside town is approximately 20 miles to the East, or if it's beautiful greenery that you wish for, Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds is to the West.
