Lovely traditional cottage but modernised. Great location. As one might expect, any tall guests might be challenged by low ceilings and especially by the in bath shower head which cant be more than 1.80M high. If you can allow for this, youll have a most enjoyable stay. Three pubs within 2 minutes walk and parking nearby although this might be an iRead moressue during high season. Hide

A beautiful house in the heart of Wells. Restaurants and shops abound within minutes, and everything the North Norfolk coast offers is a short drive or bus journey away. People over about 5 foot 6 will need to take care upstairs, but the house is comfortably furnished throughout. The kitchen is small, but kitted out with everything you need, but thRead moreere are so many great restaurants in the neighbourhood you may not bother. Hide

We loved it, very homely and comfortable. Boys loved that it was an old sweet shop and were trying to find some that had been left! Also really enjoyed Monopoly with 7 year old

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at The Old Sweet Shop at Wells next the Sea. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. It is perfectly located as a starting point for various walks and is only a short walk to the harbour. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to family and friends.

My sister and I stayed at the Old Sweet Shop for 4 nights. We loved the way the accommodation had been renovated. The weather was very windy and wet and it was a lovely, welcoming place to return to. The location was excellent. The one big drawback is the lack of parking but we managed.
