The Old Stables is the perfect romantic retreat for couples. Idyllically placed amongst beautiful countryside with stunning views in all directions and only a five-minute drive to Settle, it really is the ideal place to stay in the Dales.

Formerly part of a stone stable block, the studio has been tastefully converted and is both warm and comfortable with fabulous views from every angle. With a stylish open plan living/dining and bedroom space and separate kitchen and shower room, it is well equipped and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

To the front of the cottage, there is a private parking space for one vehicle and a patio area with dining table and chairs to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on a summers evening, whilst enjoying the open views across the fields and the surrounding beautiful countryside.

Enter through the front door and into the kitchen:

Kitchen: A lovely range of cream coloured wood units with wood work surfaces and views across to Ingleborough and the fields. This compact but well-appointed kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Open plan living/dining/bedroom space:  A lovely, light and contemporary room with wood floors, smart TV, comfy sofa and table and chairs at one end of the room and a king-size bed with bedside drawers, built in wardrobe at the opposite end. With fabulous views over open fields and across to Ingleborough.

Shower room:  A tasteful and modern shower room with shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror.

Outside: To the front of the property is a gravelled private parking area for one vehicle, with a private paved seating area with table and chairs, which overlooks open countryside and fields.22 kwh high speed EV charger available, charges paid directly to the owner before departure.

Our host was welcoming and helpful. The cottage was perfect, it had everything we needed as a home from home, it was light and airy, plus clean.

The Old Stables is the perfect location for a couple looking to spend a relaxing few days in the lovely Yorkshire Dales. You can step out of the front door and experience the picturesque countryside with lots of local walks right on your doorstep. It's very quiet with hardly any traffic. The property looks newly renovated with everything you could Read moreneed in the kitchen. The lounge/bedroom is comfortable and the ideal place to relax in after a long day's walking. We were very pleased with the cottage. Everything that you might need was provided. It was clean and well furnished. An excellent 'welcome pack' was provided. The location is good, being off the main road but not so remote that accessing amenities was difficult.

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable. Well equipped to make your stay enjoyable and homely. The location was perfect, nice and peaceful, beautiful surroundings and well placed for amenities. Not too far off the beaten track with marvelous views.

A lovely property and though in the countryside it was close to Settle for shopping. Owners very friendly and always on hand if needed. Very well equipped and pleasant patio from which to enjoy the views.

Perfect property for two, good location close to Settle and for exploring the Dales. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, we had a very enjoyable holiday, would certainly recommend.
