Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in the village of Muker, is the charming, spacious and well-equipped cottage, Bramble Bottom. Sleeping 10 people in five bedrooms with four bathrooms, open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area and complete with wood burning stove, it is both comfortable and cosy. With its quirky bedrooms, all individually themed and located on both sides of the property, most with en suite bathrooms, it is the ideal place to get together for a group of four couples, a family or a group of friends.

Bramble Bottom is an ‘upside down’ cottage, full of character and charm, with window seats giving you fantastic views of the village, beck and hills. The cottage has free super-fast wifi, a smart flat screen TV with Freeview, together with a Blu-ray DVD/CD player. The TV has numerous apps installed, including the main iPlayers, so you can catch up on your favourite programmes. In addition, a 250W sound bar system with Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream music from your own devices.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including two fridges, freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, Melita coffee machine and milk frother.

Situated in the centre of the delightful village of Muker, the property has private parking and a rear small patio area which overlooks the village green, the perfect place to sit on a summer's evening with a glass of wine.

Bramble Bottom is close to the village pub, store and tearooms, Swaledale Woollens and the Craft Gallery. There is fantastic walking and cycling directly from the doorstep and in May and June, you can enjoy the famous wildflower meadows. May also sees the wonderfully varied Swaledale Festival and in September, there is the traditional Muker Show – a great day out for all the family.

Great cottage - our 37th annual Boys Walking Weekend with 7 of us enjoying this fabulous Dales location. 2 of the double beds hadn't been made up as twins, as requested, but a quick phone call to Original Cottages and it was resolved.

Lovely cottage and would definitely stay again. Lots of steep stairs, so not suitable for those with mobility issues. But a great space for family and friends groups, especially the open plan kitchen/dining/seating area on the second floor. Fantastic views across the valley.
