The property has been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard throughout. The lounge's traditional stone walls and cosy wood burner are perfectly contrasted by the stylish decor and contemporary velvet sofas that face the large picture windows with uninterrupted views across the countryside. Leading from here is a generous kitchen/dining area with bespoke dining table and further access to the stunning scenery. There are 4 charming bedrooms boasting original features and 2 bathrooms conveniently spread across both floors. A large patio stretches across the front of the property and the south facing garden boasts stunning panoramic views of Hells Mouth (Porth Neigwl) and the headlands of Mynydd Rhiw and Mynydd Cilan.

If you can break yourselves away from the mesmerising landscape and peaceful surroundings, Mur Llwyd is just a short drive from Abersoch's bustling town centre and wide sandy beaches. There's fantastic array of  amenities and activities to find here including restaurants, bars and shops, a seafront golf course, regular boat trips and great conditions for windsurfing, sailing, paddle-boarding, and kayaking. Llanbedrog is also within driving distance of the cottage and home to another lovely beach, as well as a delightfully scenic walk through Plas Glyn y Weddw’s mature woodland and around Mynydd Tir-y-Cwmwd headland where you'll find breath taking views in every direction.The Llyns other 13 beaches are all within easy reach of the cottage. Slightly further afield is the enchanting Italianate style village of Portmeirion and the action-packed adventures found at the various Zip World sites scattered across Snowdonia Nation Park.

  • Lounge: Two vibrant 4-seater sofas, bespoke oak furniture including; console table, low sideboard and 3 coffee tables, a large wall-mounted Smart TV, cosy log burner and window seat with far-reaching views. 
  • Kitchen/Dining Area: Generous fitted kitchen with oven, inductions hob, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar with 2 stools, bespoke dining table with 8-10 chairs and French doors leading out onto patio area. 
  • Utility Room: Washing machine, heated drying rack and ironing facilities.
  • Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with bedside tables, bespoke wardrobe and chest of drawers, and full-length mirror. 
  • Bedroom 2: Bunk bedroom with bedside lights, wooden stool, bespoke wardrobe and wall mirror. 
  • Bathroom: Free-standing bath with shower over, WC and wash basin. 

Upstairs

  • Bedroom 3: Double bedroom with bedside tables, two bespoke chest of drawers, a hanging rail and mirror. 
  • Bedroom 4: Twin bedroom with a bedside table, two bedside lamps, bespoke chest of drawers, a hanging rail and mirror. 
  • Wet Room: Shower, WC and wash basin. 

Garden

  • South facing garden with stunning panoramic views of Hells Mouth (Porth Neigwl) and the headlands of Mynydd Rhiw and Mynydd Cilan.
  • Garnfadryn (highest peak on the peninsula) seen from the sides and rear of the property.
  • A large patio stretches across the front of the property and is complete with a circular wooden table with seating for 8, a sofa and 2 armchairs, an Adirondack companion seat and a gas BBQ. Part of the patio is screened with a glass balustrade.
  • A large grassed area is also at the front of the cottage with flower beds.
  • A lockable shed is available for guests storage at the rear of the building.
  • Please note there is a drop at the bottom of the garden, children should be supervised

We had a delightful stay at this charming cottage on the Lln Peninsula. Nestled in a serene, remote location, it was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. Back in the 60s 70s my grandparents owned this cottage. What a treat to come back decades later and see such a beautiful transformation. An amazing stay and the memories live on. Thank you.
