This fabulously appointed Canadian style lodge is set in a valley which seems to offer its own micro-climate and boasts countryside and farm views. The kitchen consists of Neff appliances and has every utensil you need to cook up a culinary delight, whilst a Smeg coffee machine ensures your mornings start in the best way possible. The living space is flooded with light from windows and skylights and is decorated with various artworks and Cornish artifacts, giving this property a truly unique feel.

Little Petherick, known for its beautiful church, is located at the end of Petherick Creek, a tidal tributary of the River Camel. There is easy access to The Saints Way, a Bronze Age Trading route running from glorious Padstow, which is approximately a 2 mile walk from Little Petherick, going all the way across to Fowey on the South Coast. When you’re there, don’t forget to pop across to Rock on the ferry, or take a trip down the estuary on the Jubilee Queen.

Maple Lodge is a really well looked after and comfortable place to stay. Everything was there to help us and make us feel at home and it was all done to very high standards. The location is secluded and there is nature all around you. It is convenient in terms of being able to drive to Padstow and we used it as base - however, if the weather hadRead more been worse, you could certainly stay in the property without being bored or getting under each other's feet. It is a very spacious property and we were able to spend a lot of time outside on the decking area. All in all, a really excellent space to stay and we would definitely go back again. Hide

Location was great, photos make it look a lot bigger and there is no garden. This meant we had to put dog on lead to walk down the road for a pee. It has been well used but we still had a great break.

We loved our stay at Maple Lodge. Lovely peaceful location but a short drive to Padstow. Lodge had everything we needed, a good layout with the mezzanine lounge area an added bonus. Would definately return. Plenty of beaches to explore in the area and many dog friendly.

A wonderful Swiss styled house set in a rural location. The property was easy to find within a very quiet village area. The property was beautifully presented, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, and would highly recommend!

The pictures seriously do not do this property justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The property was so clean and cosy, we are considering staying over Christmas. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home in a lovely location and perfect for visiting surrounding Cornwall. Unfortunately the weather was not great but we found things to do.
