What a fantastic holiday we had. It was great to visit the different areas of cornwall and so relaxing when we returned to the lodge as so peaceful after visiting such busy towns and heavy traffic. Maple Lodge is lovely- Kitchen fully equipped, plenty of towels, lovely fresh bedding. Beautifully decorated with lots of space and seating areas. The bRead moreonus for me was the fan in the upper bedroom which for a woman of a certain age was an absolute blessing and a very thoughtful item. The only problem we had was having my 82 year old mother with us who has Parkinsons. She slept downstairs but and was unable to use the shower in the bathroom as not able to climb into the bath. We managed to get her upstairs for a shower. and afterwards she relaxed in the upper lounge which she adored. Ideally having a separate bath and shower cubicle downstairs would have been helpful but its hasnt put us off returning. Hide

Lovely lodge, nice quiet road. No garden but lovely balcony to sit & relax on without being overlooked. Easily accessible to areas around. Big Tesco at padstow. Nice beaches locally. Welcome basket was a nice gesture

The property is beautiful in a gorgeous area. We were very lucky with the weather and made lots of use of both decking areas. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. A lovely welcome box on arrival. Would definitely book again if staying in Cornwall.

Maple Lodge is a really well looked after and comfortable place to stay. Everything was there to help us and make us feel at home and it was all done to very high standards. The location is secluded and there is nature all around you. It is convenient in terms of being able to drive to Padstow and we used it as base - however, if the weather hadRead more been worse, you could certainly stay in the property without being bored or getting under each other's feet. It is a very spacious property and we were able to spend a lot of time outside on the decking area. All in all, a really excellent space to stay and we would definitely go back again. Hide

Location was great, photos make it look a lot bigger and there is no garden. This meant we had to put dog on lead to walk down the road for a pee. It has been well used but we still had a great break.

We loved our stay at Maple Lodge. Lovely peaceful location but a short drive to Padstow. Lodge had everything we needed, a good layout with the mezzanine lounge area an added bonus. Would definately return. Plenty of beaches to explore in the area and many dog friendly.

A wonderful Swiss styled house set in a rural location. The property was easy to find within a very quiet village area. The property was beautifully presented, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, and would highly recommend!

The pictures seriously do not do this property justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The property was so clean and cosy, we are considering staying over Christmas. Highly recommend.
