The king bedroom is complete with ample storage and sofa bed and the colourful bathroom is well-appointed with both bath and shower. To the front of the property, there's a lovely patio area that's perfect for a spot of al fresco dining or an evening of star-gazing. On a clear day, enjoy far-reaching views out towards Aran Fawddwy, Aran Benllyn, Rhobell Fawr and Cadair Idris mountain ranges. 

With a number of trails on your doorstep and the historic town of Dolgellau just 6 miles by car, the cottage is perfectly located for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Home to wonderful local pubs, eateries and stores, Dolgellau and the surrounding area boasts a brilliant selection of popular walking and cycling routes including Precipice Walk, Mawddach Trail and Coed y Brenin Forest. For watersport enthusiasts, the market town of Bala (13mi) is well worth the visit. Wales' biggest lake, Llyn Tegid, is placed at its centre and great for fishing, canoeing, kayaking or sailing and the fast-flowing waters at the National White Water Centre provide the ideal conditions for rafting. For an exciting adventure, take a trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog (30mi) and discover the numerous local activities such as Ffestiniog Railway and Zip World Slate Caverns. The beaches at Barmouth and Fairbourne are around 15 miles from the cottage as well as the remains of Harlech Castle, a magnificent coastal fortress just 30 minutes drive away.

Where do we begin! This little secret has been just what we needed! Gorgeous views, we rarely left the hot tub. We could lie in it for ever staring at these hills. We've had a wonderful stay - thank you. It has been peaceful and relaxing. The accommodation has been perfect and the welcome pack was a lovely treat. We really enjoyed Portmeirion, Mawddach trail, Barmouth and taking a cycle around Lake Vyrnwy! It was wonderful to be able to chill in the hot tub in the evenings.

Lovely cottage and location, welcoming basket was a nice touch. The owner was welcoming and helpful. Ideal base to explore this part of Wales with everything you need. Day out in Portmeirion, Railways at Bala, trip to Snowdon, Conwy, Harlech, Caernarfon and Barmouth, plenty to do. The hot tub was lovely to unwind in at the end of the day.

Such a delightful place to stay! Very comfortable and cosy, perfect for a birthday treat. A tasty welcome basket awaited us on our arrival. Everything was first class and comfortable! Such a beautiful area, the views are stunning and enjoyable when in the hot tub! We had lovely weather which enhanced our stay. The owner was accessible and very open and friendly, a good host! We recommend that you take the train up Snowdon, go to Zip World, Barmouth, Portmeirion, Bala, Betws y Coed, PorRead morethmadog and Dolgellau. Thank you for a lovely break - the cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed! The views are incredible and the owner was so kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed our stay, visiting Beddgelert, Portmeirion and Coed y Brenin forest walks was great! We'd love to return!
