This homely two-storey cottage near the harbour in the historic fishing village of Seahouses in the Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is ideal for a couple or small family seeking a seaside holiday. There are plenty of amenities within 0.5 miles of the property and a delightful sandy beach 1 mile away. Hop on a boat and enjoy a tour of the coast while keeping your eyes peeled for some seals and bottle-nosed dolphins or some stunning views of the Northern Lights. Head to Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve (1 mile) to spot some wildlife, or further afield you can find the impressive Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles).

As you enter the property, you’ll find a hallway where you can take off your shoes and jacket. Continue through the hallway to find the kitchen/diner which is a bright and airy room with plenty of surface space for preparing and cooking special homemade meals to enjoy at your new home-away-from-home. There are touches of bold colour throughout which makes the room cheerful and homely. Next to the cottage-style window is a wooden dining table and chairs. Also on the ground floor is a WC. Climb the stairs to reach the first floor of the cottage where you’ll find the lounge. This room is tranquil and relaxing with soft earth tones. Put your feet up on the comfortable sofa or sink into one of the armchairs while watching some TV in front of the flickering electric feature fire. Also on the first floor is a twin room, and the master bedroom, with a double bed and a TV. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside the courtyard is shared with neighbouring properties. A bistro set is provided, perfect to set up outside and dine alfresco if the sun is shining.

The cottage was lovely and well equipped. Stayed for a week and it was very comfortable. It was in a perfect location for getting to the main part of Seahouses and the harbour

A beautiful, traditional cottage in Seahouses, with parking, we would highly recommend this as a place to stay for a couple, or family of 4.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A very comfortable and well planned home. Wish I'd brought sufficient clothes to justify the number of coathangers, but that's a measure of the eye for detail.

Noahs Ark is a wonderful holiday cottage that is in a perfect location for exploring the Northumberland coast and surrounding areas. The nearby pubs all have a great atmosphere and serve amazing food. I would most certainly recommend staying there and would stay there again.

A clean and well presented property let down by poor views from windows to rear. Nice quiet location. Short walk to Seahouses harbour and shops. Larger cars will not fit easily in garage and other localised parking limited. Could do with more cooking utensils (i.e.pizza tray?). But really enjoyed stay generally.

No mention of the difficult access to the bath/shower in the property (foot stool left in the bathroom, to access very high bath/shower. When booking it was mentioned that one of us used a stick to walk. We informed you of this problem whilst on holiday and received a message from you to contact the owners. As the booking was made through you, and Read morethe height/access to the bath/shower could not possibly be sorted by the owners whilst we were there we chose not to contact the owners. We would have expected some mention on the original booking details of the difficult access to the shower facilities, especially for anyone with mobility problems. We did mention also that the kitchen cleanliness could have been better, but as we washed and sorted what we needed, and wished to enjoy our weeks holiday, we did not want to waste time on further correspondence. We have used you in the past to make holiday bookings, but feel we will try other companies in the future, due to your lack of knowledge of the property and interest in our comments, sent to you whilst we were on holiday. The position of the cottage and all other rooms were fine. Hide
