Great cottage in a quiet location in central Seahouses. Location was incredibly quiet despite been so close to the centre. Even better it had a parking space, it is tight manoeuvring in & out, but as to be expected in a seaside town. We loved the location for our trip, close to the convenience of Seahouses with nice pub nearby and shops for food sRead moreupplies but easy enough to drive to the places we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend & book again. Farne Islands tour from the harbour is a MUST. Hide

This is about the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at Mermaids and we have had enjoyable times there, this time there were no complaints, which makes the sum total of nil. There was one niggle it was cold there in early October and we would suggest that you should possibly had some of the heaters on at this time of the year.

We had a fabulous week at the cottage and was perfect for our family of 3. Great location and everything we needed in terms of facilities, lots of little home comforts provided. We didnt use lots of the games and other items given we had such amazing weather but good to know they were there. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the cottage Read moreand great to have a parking space, a god send in the holidays. Beds were super comfortable and everything was easy to use and very clean. We hope to return again in the future. Hide

The cottage was very nice and in an ideal location being so close to the harbour. The little courtyard was a lovely quiet space to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine

Great place, having a designated parking space is very important as is at a premium around the village. Out of the door and just 40 yard to the sea
