Tir Du is a large, family and pet friendly property that's hidden away from the village of Botwnnog in a quiet and tranquil spot, yet it is possible to walk to the centre of the village in ten minutes. The property is situated on the outskirts of the village, down a private lane where you can forget about the hustle and bustle of life and immerse yourselves in the wonderful scenery in front of you of green fields of the fertile land of the LlÅ·n Peninsula. Relax on the picnic table, or around the fire pit, in the superb outside area while the BBQ gets fired up and enjoy taking in the countryside views while the children play on the climbing frame and swings and the pets run around. This house offers the perfect setting for a big family get-together where plenty of great memories will be made. The cottage itself has recently been adapted and modernized to a high standard and has a fantastic, spacious kitchen, a comfortable living room that's ideal for a family movie night, and 5 beautifully presented bedrooms. The conservatory at the front of the house will be a lovely spot for reading and looks out towards Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth), and Cilan Point can be seen clearly. In stormy weather, white wave foam can be seen splashing against the peninsula. At this very appealing holiday home, that has more than enough space for 8 guests and 2 pets and unspoiled, far-reaching views, you are bound to have a truly memorable holiday.
Despite Tir Du's secluded location, you are only 2 miles away from the nearest pub, restaurant, butchers and shop, which is at a petrol station, all in the small village of Sarn Mellteyrn, with Botwnnog itself home to a delightful little café, Caffi Congl Meinciau, which you can walk to from Tir Du for some breakfast or a cuppa and a cake. This will be a lovely treat after spending some time walking along the LlÅ·n Coastal Path where you'll be introduced to stunning views and wildlife and it is literally all around you in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. LlÅ·n Peninsula is a haven for beach lovers and the beaches here are sure to impress - fine sands, glistening sea and breathtaking views, and some of them such as Llanbedrog Beach, Abersoch's main beach and Porth Towyn welcome your pets to join you for some beach fun. If you do choose to visit the squeaky sands of Porth Towyn or the nearby coves, make sure you stop at Cwt Tatws to visit the stylish shop and café afterwards. There are many National Trust properties worth visiting here too which include Plas yn Rhiw and Porth y Swnt, or for a fun family day out that's sure to keep the children, and adults, entertained for hours, visit the all weather activity centre Glasfryn Parc.
