Tremayne House is an imposing granite house in the charming fishing town of Newlyn. This spacious, dog friendly property is set in an elevated position to take advantage of the glorious views across the harbour and out to St Michael’s Mount.  Enjoy relaxing on the terrace or wander into town exploring independent shops, galleries, traditional pubs and seafood restaurants. The location also provides a great base for a traditional Cornish holiday visiting the golden sandy beaches and stunning scenery West Cornwall has to offer.

The property is accessed via two flights of granite steps.

GROUND FLOOR
Living/Dining Room: A good size room with comfy sofas, gas fire, Smart TV and dining table and chairs. This room has a large bay window with fabulous sea views to St Michael’s Mount.
Cloakroom: Off the hallway with washbasin and WC.
Kitchen: Electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee machine which takes Dolce Gusto pods.
Sunroom: To the rear of the kitchen is a useful breakfast/sunroom.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1:
King-size bed, wall-mounted TV, chest of drawers, dressing table, wardrobe and views across the harbour
Bedroom 2:  Double bed and wall-mounted TV.
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.  

SECOND FLOOR
Bedroom 3: Twin beds which can be zip linked to a super king bed upon request. This room has views to the harbour.

Outside: Enclosed courtyard to rear with barbeque. Decked terrace to the front of the house to take advantage of the views with a morning coffee or sundowner after a day exploring the area.

The view was amazing but the house was on a hill with several steps to enter the property . It would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues and parking was a nightmare

Kitchen plinth kept falling off. Self closing toilet seat would not open fully and kept closing onto one's back while toilet was used. Very hot front rooms ... no fans provided. General inside cleaning was excellent but the less regular jobs were not up to date: Dirty windows, courtyard floor needed a good wash and brush, white venetian blinds Read morevery dusty, furniture on deck very wobbly and worn, 2 cream leather sofas grimey and needed cleaned. Baby cot was grubby. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower was powerful and perfect! The white towels were thick fluffy and luxurious. Baby highchair clean and new. We were able to book Tuesday to Tuesday (not limited to a weekend start) that was excellent us. Hide
