With its award-winning sandy beach with shallow waters and nearby village facilities, and a fantastic choice of other stunning beaches close by such as Amroth Beach, Manorbier Beach and Barafundle Bay, Saundersfoot is the perfect base for your romantic, active, walking or beach family holiday. There's a great choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes here boasting menus that include some tasty local produce, and a variety of independent shops. For those keen on getting active, you may choose to go out and explore the area on bikes that you can rent from the harbour or have a go at paddle boarding or kayaking. Very convenient to the town of Saundersfoot, a quiet residential area, nice neighbours. The cottage was well equipped with all appliances working well. Very hilly area not easiest place to walk.

Good base for the area. The drive was quite steep and narrow, not apparent on the photograph, so we parked on the road. Most of the kitchen equipment and the appliances seemed brand new which was lovely. We tended to drive into Saundersfoot as my husband uses a mobility scooter and it would have been a steep descent with some obstructions due tRead moreo roadworks. We found this bungalow to be very good, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower works really well, the bed is comfortable. If heating is required then the system is very efficient. We had no complaints only a few suggestions. Although we found the location to our liking, there is quite a climb from the front to the bungalow and anyone not completeRead morely fit and mobile would find this to be an important issue . Hide

Excellent stay at Ty Merlin. Comfy and quiet and very well equipped. Garden is secure unless you have a doggo who is determined to escape, as the drive at the side of the house only has a low gate which leads directly into the garden. Luckily our Cockapoo showed no interest in escaping and was happy to just stay in the garden.

Lovely bungalow and very clean and spacious. Everything you needed in the kitchen was modern and plentiful, and the tea coffee milk and biscuits were very welcome. Ideally situated near to village, downhill to village but uphill to return. Conservatory lovely and light, and bedrooms also light and airy.
