This property is a rare find, with four large bedrooms sleeping up to eight and a hot tub right in the centre of the town, a short stroll from Whitby's harbour, stylish bars and award-winning restaurants. Set over three floors, this luxury property has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with all the mod cons you would need to make your holiday comfortable and relaxing. The four delightful bedrooms make this the perfect holiday choice for extended families or groups of friends looking for a special place to stay. From its welcoming hallway with amazing driftwood lamp to the cosy lounge, great for sitting and laughing over the day's sight-seeing and on into the dining room, a great space for sharing good food, drink and conversation into the night around the large wood table surrounded by comfortable leather chairs and an original church pew. There is also a wall mounted large screen TV with Sky Q including Sky sports and a comfy sofa to retire too for your enjoyment.

Head up to the first floor which boasts two luxurious bedrooms. Both feature king size sleigh beds and soft furnishings, which create a lovely opulent ambience. Both rooms also have a TV and plenty of storage with built in closet wardrobes and a chest of drawers. And don’t forget the full length free standing mirrors which add a touch of opulence. The modern shower room on this floor with double walk in shower serves both bedrooms.

A second large bathroom with a free standing bath, double basin and WC  and double walk in shower can be found on the second floor. Here you will also find two further bedrooms; a cute twin with 3ft beds and a large bedroom with king size bed and spectacular views of the Abbey and the headland. All four bedrooms have hairdryers and TVs and the additional storage on the upper landing is a bonus.

A real Suntrap

The rear courtyard, with seating for everyone and a hot tub ready for you to enjoy, is the perfect place to end the day while staying at Seahorse House. Why not share a glass of something special while unwinding from the day's exertions and taking in the sea air.

Whitby is a very popular seaside town retaining old world character and has lots of events throughout the year. Whatever your interests, there is something for everyone in the locality, historic castles, even older abbeys, museums, farms, walking, cycling, superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce and, of course, restaurants and tea rooms too numerous to mention.

Entrance: Through the front door is a porch then on into the entrance hall with original wooden floor, which features a chandelier, a shoe rack, an ornate French bureau with unusual large driftwood lamp. Coat hooks.
Cloakroom: Small vanity basin with mirror over, WC and heated towel rail.
Lounge: Four seater sofa and two seater sofa and a chair, coffee table, a standard lamp and two lamps on seahorse pedestals, boat shaped bookcase, electric fire inset into a wood fireplace with black marble hearth with elegant mirror over, Smart TV with Sky Q, an unusual clock face coffee table and elephant footstool.
Dining Room: 
Large wooden table with five matching comfortable leather chairs and an original church pew with sheepskins which seats three, large screen wall mounted TV with Sky Q ans Sky Sports, cast iron fire in fireplace (not in use). A large four-seater sofa flanked by two standard lamps.
Kitchen: Well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops, electric range cooker and hood over, integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. This room has French doors opening to the rear garden with hot tub.

FIRST FLOOR

Bedroom One: King size velvet sleigh bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, wall mounted 4O" TV, tall free standing gilt framed mirror, blanket box, chest of drawers, wardrobe.
Bedroom Two: King size wood sleigh bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, ornate chandelier over bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, wall mounted 40" TV.
Bathroom: Tiled walls, double sized walk-in shower with large rainfall shower head, WC, wash hand basin with mirrored cabinet over, heated towel rail.

SECOND FLOOR: Landing area with large walk-in dressing room with wardrobe and seating.

Bedroom Three: This room has spectacular views to Whitby Abbey and the headland. King size sleigh bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, wall mounted 40" TV, floor standing full length mirror, two chairs and a built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom Four:
Twin beds, each with a bedside cabinet with reading lamp, wall mounted 40" TV and a large mirror.
Bathroom: 
Sumptuous family bathroom with free-standing oval bath, WC, twin basins built in to the vanity unit, double walk in shower with rain-head attachment, heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE
Rear:
Through the french doors from the kitchen to a courtyard with slate paving and a lovely seating area, which catches the sun. Down a few steps to a further seating area and the hot tub.

Pets:  up to 2 well behaved dogs allowed.
Parking: Parking scratchcards are provided 
Garden: Forecourt to the front and courtyard to the rear with seating and hot tub.
Heating: The property is heated throughout with gas central heating.
Short Breaks: Accepted all year round.

Gorgeous spacious house, beautifully decorated and in a great location. Kitchen had everything we needed and welcome pack was great! Parking quite tricky, but was to be expected in busy holidays and being so central. Views from top floors amazing!

Very clean and well equipped house. Brilliantly located for all amenities. Hot tub was the icing on the cake. One thing to be aware of, is parking is restricted, so peak season will be away from the property.

A lovely house that met all our needs. Location is great, just 3 minutes to local bars and pub for food or 5 minutes to the town. House is well equipped and the jacuzzi is lovely and hot. The house is beautifully presented.

The property is comfortable, well maintained, clean and in a great position in Whitby. A real happy place for a family holiday with the extra of a lovely hot tub.

Seahorse house is a large, comfortable house. We went as a party of 8 adults and 2 dogs and there was plenty of space for all of us. The location was perfect too.

We had a fabulous stay, the house is beautifully furnished, very well equipped and bigger than it appears on the photos too. The location is very central for everything needed locally, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others!

Amazing property, great location and beautiful inside. Hot tub was great addition. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great sizes and the owners were easy to contact and accommodating. We will be back!
