The nearest village of Bradworthy is just 3 miles away, with a good choice of amenities, including a pub/restaurant, butchers, doctor’s surgery, vets, garage, Post office, hardware, and general stores. For walking enthusiasts, the South-West Coastal path can be picked up within 20 minutes drive, which leads to many unspoilt beaches and coves, taking in breath-taking views along the way. The bustling market town of Holsworthy is 7.5 miles away with a leisure centre, indoor swimming pool, a large variety of shops, tea rooms, a Waitrose supermarket, and an M&S food store. Chinese, Indian, Turkish and Fish and Chip takeaways, several good quality restaurants, pubs, a main Post Office, bank with cashpoint, petrol station, electric car charging point and a large Co-op can also be found in the town.
