This large, semi-detached property occupies a commanding position overlooking Cromer’s popular beach and pier, with breathtaking sea views to the front. There’s something for everyone in Cromer, such as pitch-and-putt, water sports, museums and cliff-top strolls. Also, be sure to try some famous Cromer crab! Venturing further afield, enjoy a day out on Sheringham’s family-friendly beach (4.5 miles) or why not take a boat trip around Blakeney Point National Nature Reserve (15 miles) to watch the seals and rare seabirds, or you could even visit the Norfolk Broads National Park (29 miles). For a wander around independent shops and eateries, head to the charming market town of Holt (10 miles), which also has a country park.

Careful attention to detail gives this property a sense of style, with every room feeling light, airy and spacious. On entering, discard wet or sandy shoes before heading into the lounge. Here, you’ll find a beautiful bay window framing the sea views, comfortable sofas to sink into when you need to rest your weary legs and a flame-effect electric fire to keep you warm on colder evenings along with a Smart TV & DVD player. When it’s time to cook up a wholesome breakfast or hearty meal, the well-equipped galley kitchen has everything you’ll need, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. For sociable mealtimes, the spacious dining room is ideal, with ample seating for everyone. There’s also a sofa and Smart TV here so that younger guests can leave the table, whilst the adults reminisce. The ground floor also has a utility room (accessed via a covered passageway between the house and garage) with a washer/dryer, some beach and garden games, and a shower room and WC. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to four of the five bedrooms on the first floor, some of which allow you to soak up yet more of the sea views. All the bedrooms are exquisitely presented, each with a different colour accent. There is also a family bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath and WC, whilst the final bedroom is on the second floor and has a vaulted ceiling and views of the lighthouse.

Sliding doors in the dining room lead out to the good-sized garden, which has a patio for al fresco dining and a lawn. There is dining furniture, a parasol, a shed, which can also be used for bike storage. There is off-road parking for two cars on the driveway.

A fantastic house for a large family. Very well equipped, had no need to bring toys, cutlery and plates etc for grandchildren with us! Lovely large enclosed garden which was very sunny during our visit and great for Easter Egg hunt. Nice location, near to shops, beach and pier but away from too much hustle and bustle of the busy town. A bonus to Read morehave two parking spaces at accomodation. Hide

Fantastic location, brilliant size. Extremely well stocked with games and kitchen supplies etc. Lots of thoughtful touches to make it homely and a fun and easy time away. From the point of initial booking and actually arriving, the BBQ disappeared from the property description and this was no longer there. The general cleanliness massively let theRead more property down. Ordinarily this would not have made so much of an impact to the holiday, however my 2 year old found loose medication in a cupboard that had clearly not been checked. And my 4 year old hurt himself on a broken toilet seat upstairs. This would have been obvious that it was broken had anyone cleaned it properly, but also because a precious occupant had mentioned it being broken in the maintenance book and this was ignored or not checked. I would suggest a thorough deep clean is required to bring this up to scratch and it was a real shame as otherwise this would be a fantastic property to choose. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We can confirm that we have addressed and resolved these issues. Hide

Lovely house, well decorated and presented in a perfect location - close enough to the town centre to allow us to walk in. Looked to have been refreshed since our last visit (2023) which new flooring and fresh paint. Very comfortable and easily accommodated 9 people - six adults and three grand children.

We had a pleasant week and the location is great but the sea view is limited especially at the moment with works taking place across the road. There are some issues that could be easily resolved to make this a really excellent place to stay.
